Dot-head Hindus won't teach the Controversy

One thing I can’t stand is lies, superstition and hypocrisy! These dot-heads are afraid of people looking into their ludicrous superstitions and finding that (a) there are lots on stories just like their story of the creation of the world (b) details of these stories conflict (c )demons, devils and their gods are no more than folk tales written by peasants!

India's Delhi University in row over Ramayana epic essay
A row has broken out in the Indian capital over whether Delhi university should teach a controversial essay about the Hindu epic, the Ramayana. The essay by the well-known scholar AK Ramanujan was dropped from the history syllabus earlier this week after protests from Hindu hardline groups.

The article describes 300 different retellings of the epic story found in India and other Asian countries. Protesters say the versions recounted in the essay offend Hindu beliefs.

Entitled "Three Hundred Ramayanas: Five Examples and Three Thoughts on Translation", the essay has been part of the university's history course since 2006. Hindu groups have protested against its inclusion since 2008.

Following an order from the Supreme Court, an expert committee was formed to look into the issue. Last week, three of the four committee members recommended that the essay should remain part of the syllabus. Nevertheless, the university's academic council [which decides the syllabus] voted to drop the essay from the syllabus earlier this week.

The university's history department has now said it wants the essay to be restored to the syllabus arguing that the university is compromising intellectual freedom because of political pressure

"We find it very unfortunate that a course that was included and passed by the history department... has been dropped," Mail Today newspaper quoted Professor Sunil Kumar as saying. "The department has prepared a letter informing the council about its position and also asked the council to reconsider its decision," he added.

Critics of the essay argue that it refers to versions of the Ramayana which claim that Lord Ram and Sita were siblings and that the 10-headed demon king Ravana was Sita's father.

In the most popular version of Ramayana, written by the Hindu sage Valmiki, Ram and Sita were married and are held up as an ideal couple. Ravana, it says, desired Sita for himself, kidnapped her and held her hostage until Ram rescued her.
I pray that they will publish this book (whatever it has in it, I wouldn't read such filth), lose their faith in false gods, and see the Truth that God created the world from nothing, made land, the heavens and all the animals created man and woman out of mud, flooded the earth, cleansed the land of heathens, gave His Son for Our Salvation and temporarily killed him so we could all go to heaven!

These superstitious idiots should take a reality check and look at the actual evidence instead of clinging to their crazy ancient tales made up long before anyone even had a grasp of the scope of the world. They just don't even start to add up and contradict each other constantly. And they want to be taken seriously when it comes to providing an actual credible explanation for the nature of the universe!

They can't get their heads round the fact that their claimed status to be the oldest established religion in the world just means they were superseded by the one word of Truth® in the only self-professed infallible word of God that is actually what it claims to be.

To be honest I don't know how they manage to carry themselves without embarrassment when they look at a truly modern faith that is still relevant and current. Elephants with multiple arms? What nonsense next to our one God who is invisible and ineffable.

John 5:46,47 For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me. But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?

The piss-drinking dot heads never cease to amaze me with their superstitious nonsense. I don't know about you, but I'm putting my faith in something believable like talking snakes, a tower that was build high into the clouds, Lot's wife turning into a pillar of salt, a global flood that wiped out all life, a river turning into blood, burning ice falling from the skies, a pillar of fire appearing out of nowhere to stop the Egyptians, Moses parting the Red Sea, a river bursting out of a rock, God flying around in a cloud ship and zapping the Isrealites with fire beams, talking donkeys, a sound of trumpets crumbling the walls fo Jericho, the day and night cycle stopping at Joshua's command, Samson's super human strength and his 1 vs 1000 victory over armed and armored soldiers using nothing but a donkey's jawbone, Saul speaking with Samuels ghost, Solomon's 1000 mates, God & Isrealite killing a 1 million strong cushite army, Jesus walking on water, Jesus raising the dead, Jesus turning water to wine, Jesus feeding 5000 people with 5 loafs of bread and 2 fish, the earth quaking when Jesus died and zombies walking the streets and Jesus rising from the dead and flying to Heaven. Exactly. The Bible describes us many miracles and almost unbelievable things that God have done. But all of these make sense! They have clear purpose and they are things you expect from the God.

But if you compare them to the fairy tales that hindus have... Their stories are like that recent soap opera, it was called Dallas I think. And think about it, they have like 300 versions of only that one story. If it would be like The Bible, it would only have one version. The Bible even has the one version told by four different ways!

That is the beauty of the Holy Bible: It is book that can be followed to the letter. There isn't single contradiction there. Everything is so clear and makes sense. Man could never write book like that without divine guidance.

Nothing like the Harry Potter books the Hindus are reading.

                    Yes! Laughable, isn't it?

Typical Dot-head, they probably got some idea that they needed another god, got drunk and stole the idea from Revelation in which The Beast is a male leopard with bear's feet, a lion's mouth, seven heads with blasphemous names written on them. All seven heads have at least one horn, and the total number of horns is ten in all, each crowned with a diadem.

Re:13:2: And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.

Did you follow my link, Sister?

It clearly shows that a common so-called discrepancy that uneducated atheists try to exploit is totally in line with the rest of the Bible. Their minds are so full of mush from their drug deathstyle they can't see how perfect the Lord is.

Matthew 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Is being perfect denying our Lord?

Jude 1:4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 John 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

It's a no brainer, atheists and heathens!

Through careful consideration of Scripture (Isaiah 28:10), one might see that both accounts could be correct.

Without reading anything I already know that both accounts ARE correct. Obviously this is not any sort of criticism of you - but of the doubting Thomases who run that site who, however well intentioned, are sowing the seeds of doubt. Thank you for bringing it to everyone's attention. When people begin to doubt the veracity of God's word, soon they doubt everything He says.

I see your point now. Yes, I did wonder why they felt the need to labour the point about Judas Iscariot's many different deaths when it's obvious there can be no doubt of God's word. We walk a difficult line sometimes when we contemplate the nonsense of others, I guess.
