      Psalm 11:5

The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.

      Proverbs 6:
16 These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:

17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,

18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,

19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.
      Amos 6:8

The Lord GOD hath sworn by himself, saith the LORD the God of hosts, I abhor the excellency of Jacob, and hate his palaces: therefore will I deliver up the city with all that is therein.

*holds back laughter* "dong" is a slang term for a dildo. You probably meant "bong," which is a smoking device containing water or ice to cool the smoke.

That device not only looks vulgar, but also appears not to be of any value in INGESTING marijuana, only in burning it and inhaling the smoke.

Since you prefer to destroy the plants God created for food, you are sinning by sucking on this "dong" of yours.

I think we need to look at Psalms 18:

Psalms:18:1: I will love thee, O LORD, my strength.
Psalms:18:2: The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
Psalms:18:3: I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.
Psalms:18:4: The sorrows of death compassed me, and the floods of ungodly men made me afraid.
Psalms:18:5: The sorrows of hell compassed me about: the snares of death prevented me.
Psalms:18:6: In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears.
Psalms:18:7: Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations also of the hills moved and were shaken, because he was wroth.
Psalms:18:8: There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it.

It is clear that The Lord sends smoke out of His perfectly formed nostrils – it is not for mankind to ape the Lord of Hosts in a pathetic travesty of His Great Holiness – to do so would be blasphemy.

You, sir, have described how you have a smoke out of your nostrils, and fire out of your mouth devoured – you are damned.

This may appear an oversight through ignorance; however, I regret to inform you that blasphemy is the unforgivable crime against God. It is more than Sin, which may be forgiven!

You have every right to choose to obey the laws; I was not suggesting that you do otherwise. I, like you, will continue doing what I think is right. I can only assume that you or someone else will reply that atheists have no morals. I'm not really going to bother arguing with that, because you will ignore any argument I make and think what you want. I will say this, though: Just because an atheist's morals do not come out of a book does not mean they don't exist. They come from introspection and decisions based on the observations we have made about the world.

I apologize if i have misquoted the bible in my arguments. I have been pulling these quotes straight out of a "Marijuana and the Bible" website, as i would ahve no idea where to look for them in the book itself.

I would like to take this opportunity to reiterate that I am female and do not fear threats of Hell. As are you, I am confident in my beliefs, and using the rhetoric of another belief system will not persuade me. This is why I have used biblical rhetoric to present my arguments to you; you can more easily understand them than you would secular arguments (such as upholding the constitution, quoting out founding fathers on drug policy, etc). I won't expect you to be able to engage in such a debate considering the nature of this forum, but i hope now you will not expect me to be affected by, or to change my actions because of your assertions that I will burn in the lake of fire.

Why would you come to a Christian Church website to argue about what the Bible says about marijuana, when you are not Christian and have no knowledge of the Bible?

Who are you to come to a Christian Church forum and insult Christians, by saying that our following of God's Law is not "rational"? You know nothing OF God's Law! You listen to a couple of hippie-pot-smoking feelgood wannabe Christians, who go on about "God is Loooove, doood!" and completely ignore His Word as much as you do.

At least you admit that you have a problem -- lack of familiarity with God or His Word.

This forum has a delightful "Bible in a Year" section. Why not try reading the Bible? You might just learn why your so-called "rational" arguments fall on deaf ears; we Christians are made deaf and blind to anything but God's Words.

Every word that proceedeth from the mouth of God, missy. EVERY word, not just the ones your burnout stoner friends think are "kewl".
                            Bible boring? Nonsense!

What is obscene about it? Did you mean that it appears sexual in nature? In this case, I would suggest that you get your mind out of the gutter. If you were referring to its intended purpose of delivering smoke to one's lungs as obscene, then I ask you to expand upon your statement.

Sorry if my diagram was unclear; the device does not go *in* the mouth. If you form an O shape with your hand and place it over your closed mouth, you should find that you are able to breathe normally through your mouth. That is how it works.

You morality also comes out of a book. Except instead of being written by God the book is written by Ayn Raynd.

I don't consider "take everything you can, screw everyone and everything else" morality. Frankly that is the antithesis of morality.

Ayn Raynd is dead and can not save you from Hell, only Jesus can.

Go Bible.com, they have the Bible in easy to search, on-line format.

I strongly suggest at lest you read the chapters those verses are quoted from. If you are the "rationalist" you claim to be you shouldn't be adverse to the exposure to different ideas. But you are atheist so I doubt you will do it.
