I assume that the school was lenient on her to the point where she believed that her potential consequences where non-existent because if she did not want to go to jail, she should have committed her action in private, where there would have been no witnesses. instead of a crowded hallway. I assume that her school would have done nothing to her if none of her peers reported the incident to the police, who would then investigate the school's administration itself for possible cover-ups because the parents of other students issued complaints about the teacher in question. I assume that the school's administration was afraid of being sued by their teachers' union, which is often the case in cases such as this.

I intend to judge her based on the events that preceded the incident so that I will not make rash judgement. Bear in mind that Christ Himself warned us that we will be judge as we have judged others. We must also remember that God's ways are not our ways.

Matthew 7:1-2 "Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again."

John 7:24*"Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment."
