I've read your post a few times and I think that where you are falling down is in the simple act of trying to make up your own morals and standards of decency. God is above all the influences you put on your decisions of what feels right. If what God wanted us to do was wrong then why would He tell us what is right in His eyes?

You really should be less selfish in imposing your own narrow morality on others in defiance of God's will.

He tells us what is right.. so why are people calling me curse words and why are people doing things that God doesn't want us to do. I am not of in defiance of God's will. I do as God told me to do. People on here think that some people are better than others when Jesus loves us all. Why are people mocking me based on what I have to stand up for? Is there something wrong with that? Is there something wrong with me having my own opinions? People on here sure make it seem like that. I at least want to be told why my thoughts are wrong, you know teach me how I should learn. Don't discriminate my ideas and thoughts and don't tell me how I am. I live a life that you could never describe to me. I have opinions that you can't tell me are wrong. I want to be a better Christian, but these people make me feel like S*** every day I wake up and go to sleep. You make it seem like with "my moralities" I have lived every waking moment both s***ty and wrong. Like I have wasted all of these years of my life and I never lived by the word of God. Not one day. First of all the reason you are finding the way we approach scripture odd is because we actually look at what it says instead of what we wish it says. The Jesus you make up in your head that sometimes coincides with scripture may well agree with you but when you try to find evidence... Would you rather we acted like Catholics and made loads of stuff up?

You seem to get upset every time that someone uses Scripture to illustrate a point. I don't know why that is.

On the surface, to undiscerning people, you probably seem like a pretty decent person, and that is fine, BUT when faced with the bright lights of True Christian(tm) discernment, you come up short.

First, Brother Redeemed Papist isn't a hypocrite. He follows the very letter of the Holy Bible without apology, without modification. As it is written, he believes. His faith is in Christ, and his message is Christ Crucified. (1 Corinthians 1:23)

My my what a rant. First of all, no one is "mocking" you just because you don't like to hear the Truth. Second, all you have ever done IS a waste of your life if you don't bring other souls to Christ. (Matthew 28:19) It doesn't matter what you do if you don't believe, truly believe, and make disciples of all nations. There is nothing you can do to earn Jesus' love, (Matthew 28:19) He gives it freely to those who do His bidding (Matthew 7:21). He has given us the freedom to choose to obey or be thrown in the pits of Hell for all eternity. (John 3:18) The choice is yours. If you're not obeying, anything else you do is worthless, as you would see from the Lakes of Fire from which there is no escape.

So you see, these fine people here are trying to save you from that fate - the damnation you deserve as a human, born in sin. (Romans 5:12) Until you are washed clean in the Blood of the Lamb, (Revelation 7:14) nothing you do matters, and all your wrong beliefs won't save you.

Does going to Hell if we don't follow His teachings mean that He hates us? Or does it just mean that He is disappointed? If you think that you can actually say what is on Jesus's mind, then you have a gift. Otherwise, I don't think you can actually judge, or tell what is right or wrong. Next, if you have a problem with Catholics... then say something that isn't opinionated, otherwise I don't give a s***. And in Corinthians 6:9-11, does it say that Jesus hates us, or that some people just lived their life wrong? If you think that I read the Bible the way I wish it were to be read, then why don't you go ahead and prove to me that I do? I think you should quit being judgmental and actually get to know a guy before you make an ass out of yourself deciding who the guy is. Jesus follows everyone every step of their lives, and He actually knows a guy, so He can judge the guy, so you don't know me, you can't judge me, and save your judgments about me, because they are worthless.

These people aren't trying to help me, they are the ones that are calling me stupid names, and telling me that I am going to Hell. If they wanted to help me, they would've by now. I have an opinion, that I am entitled to, I am expressing my thoughts, so yes, I will dog on these people that are being hypocrites. Ever hear the saying "A woman should know her place", dear? Or what about "A woman should keep her stupid mouth closed until she's asked a question"? In my family, if my wife ever spoke disrespectfully to any men in the way you're talking to the members of this forum, she would be swiftly put in her place. She would be shown who's boss, and she wouldnt forget it in a hurry. I think it's pretty sick that your husband cant seem to keep you in line, and even sicker that you're parents let you get that way.
