28 If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found;
29 Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel's father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away all his days.

The rapee must marry her rapist, and may never divorce him (nor he, her)

That only applies to single women/girls. Those betrothed or married are killed.

betrothed:
23 If a damsel that is a virgin be betrothed unto an husband, and a man find her in the city, and lie with her;

An additional matter could be raised about divorce - women may not divorce husbands who hate them.

I would welcome some pastoral guidance here; in verses 25-27 we read:

25 But if a man find a betrothed damsel in the field, and the man force her, and lie with her: then the man only that lay with her shall die.
26 But unto the damsel thou shalt do nothing; there is in the damsel no sin worthy of death: for as when a man riseth against his neighbour, and slayeth him, even so is this matter:
27 For he found her in the field, and the betrothed damsel cried, and there was none to save her.

Does that mean that either the girl's father (or betrothed husband) is stuck with her WITHOUT COMPENSATION?

As to the other posters gainsaying God, who created them, it may be that they can't read, and just use some sort of voice recognition application to do their posting. That would explain their extreme ignorance of God's Perfect Love, and of His plan for the whole world.

Yes, being as he seems a man of some stamina, he could marry them all, as long as he has the money. A man may have many wives (only check the law in your state) If he rapes a boy, both shall be put to death. He is a homer and the boy has been tainted by his homerism.

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU.... Some people are just too blinded to see the real problem in some things.... What if one of your beloved nuns get raped? The rapist is still the victim i guess? I know this sounds bad, but I feel like I know where those women are coming from. It breaks my heart to think about my son Josias burning in Hell, but he rejected Jesus and I know that's where he's going to end up. If only he had died as a child before he reached the age of accountability, he'd be in Heaven waiting for me right now. Now he went and got a restraining order against Pastor so he can't share the word of God with him anymore. Breaks my heart. I'm going to be in Heaven, but Josias will be suffering in Hell.

I'm just glad to know that Jesus is going to wipe away my tears.

I dont but i disagree to the fact that the girl is the sinner... they aren't married... God created love right? kindly explain to me what love is.... ill say that its not forcing yourself to be married to someone who raped you... im so sorry for this... but i just think that having to marry the rapist is stupid... Im curious at the time when God will come... Will he be coming in a simple manner??? How sure are we that we wont treat him like Jesus??? How will we know if the saviour comes and if he really is the saviour... I admit that I need enlightenment.... It's just that when I have a daughter... I dont want her to marry a rapist... and I dont want her to marry someone she doesnt love...... I dont read the Bible much but i have to admit that I follow God's commandments... well most of them...
