You do not understand why the Pastors need to watch this filth.
Of course, no one unnecessarily watches any film which is already known to be evil and despicable. However, in order to judge whether or not a film is suitable for the congregation, the Pastor needs to watch it to make a decision.
Also, watching films which are known to be filth can still be useful when you want to learn more about the tricks of the devil, in order to recognize his evil handiwork more easily in the future.

So you're saying that any one else besides a pastor/deacon watching one of these demonic films wouldn't be knowledgable in the word of God enough, or smart enough to be able to recognize the sins that run rampant through them?

In the days of my youth, I was a member of The Landover Young Christian Team for the Suppression of Satanism. Our section was 4 men (no women allowed) and we decided to seize a Ouija board from the local store and test it so as to dispel all ideas that this might just be some stupid superstitious nonsense.

As darkness fell, two candles were lighted and we assembled around the board. At first, nothing much happened or else the spirits were dyslexic. Then it spelled out N-I-E-M-E-Y-E-R- -I-S- -A- -F-A-T- -B-A-S-T-A-R-D And then, Craig Niemeyer, who didn’t seem too happy with me for some reason, said,

The planchette moved violently; a mysterious wind blew out one of the candles and, as we sat there in stark terror, the following was spelled out.

That's what I'm screaming. I had a ouija board as a child and it didn't do what they're claiming it did. Hell, it sat in my closet more than I actually played with it. I had D&D as well, Now that game was fun. D&D is a game of stratagy and thinking.

Yes, of course. People get appointed as Pastors for a reason, you know. Only someone who is really powerful in the Word can watch this filth without being tainted by it to at least some extent.
