    The Church of the Internet

    Hello all,

I sincerely hope I am not imposing, but I wanted to share something me and my husband have been working on for the last few months and are very excited at the amount of interest we've gotten.

We've been spending alot of our modest life savings in creating a very advanced website to honor our lord and savior and is a very exciting process, it should be ready soon ( if and when the programmer ever comes back from Spain ! )

We do have a "splash" website ( temporary ) that is currently up and we would appreciate any help getting the word spread about it

You can reach it here at [spam site deleted]

Please, any feedback or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, I feel the need to mention that the content of the website was written by me and I do not consider myself a very good writer, I do not want to come off as 'cheap' by asking for donations but the fact of the matter is advertising is very expensive and our goal is to unite all of the internet users to a major 'digital church', since we are not wealthy people this current 'splash' website is a stepping stone towards our main goal, to spread the word in a way that has never been done before.

    God bless you all
    Nancy & Charles

      Hi Nobar King

My husband and I have this yearly ritual of going to Jerusalem to pray on Jesus' tomb every year, along with our prayers we normally take down names our friends and family who desire a little whisper in their regards, so, along with taking part in the first stages of building our little community, this is currently what we offer to members, not much I know but there is more to come we promise !

Are you sure this isn't some kind of scam? There are True Christian police men on this forum, you know.

          Good Evening Officer !

I am sorry if it does come off as a little 'scammy' but when we get the budget to hire a competent content writer instead of a secretary (me) I'm sure this awful image will rub off and our true intention will be revealed in a more professional looking manner

I honestly do not know what else to offer as security to wary people such as yourself, please, if you have any suggestions in the matter I would greatly appreciate it

          Thank you

Re: The Church of the Internet

Why would you promote some internet church when people can get Saved(r) right here at Landover Baptist? It would be dishonest for us to allow you to promote a church that we don't know is True Christian(tm) or a heretical cult on our servers for free. If you would like to pay for advertising, however, that can be arranged. Please contact us through our church email about setting something up.

I think this is some kind of hoax. You need to show us that you are a real church. What denomination are you? What is your stance on homosexuality and abortion? (Two of the most important issues any individual will ever encounter.)

Re: The Church of the Internet

                  Hello again,

I am sorry to hear that suspicion is so high around here, I never believed that simply trying to spread the good lord's word would have so many obstacles, and to think that you are accusing me of being a heretic, I am very hurt by this very serious accusation while I am so devoted to my religion and have been our whole lives.

Only God has the right to limit what we can and cannot say, your moderation privileges have allowed you to block the address of our website and therefore limit viewers of learning about the vast and infinite knowledge that people from all over the world can offer.

Calling it a spam site or "some internet church" is both hurtful and insulting and you should be ashamed of yourself for treating fellow Christians this way, I am not trying to 'steal your crowd', our goal at the end of the day is the same, or at least I thought so until I saw the treatment I got from you and Mr Richards today.

If your goal is to get people to follow YOU and not Jesus then all I can do is pray that your followers don't forget who really pulls the strings.

If you are interested in redeeming yourself of this aggressive behavior I will be available to chat anytime, I am sorry if I came off a bit aggressive myself but all I want at the end of the day is the same thing you want ( at least I HOPE so, for your sake. )

                  Jesus watches all.

Let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth. -- 1 John 3:18

                  God bless

Re: The Church of the Internet

Lady, you haven't given us any real information on your alleged church. Please understand, we are inundated with Godmockers, atheists and sodomites who barge in here in an effort to persecute us. We have learned to be cautious. We don't know where your church is located or what denomination you are or anything.

By the way, where is your husband in all this? The Bible tells us that women need to keep their yaps shut around men and be subjugated by them.
                    Who Will Jesus Damn?

Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:

Re: The Church of the Internet

I believe Officer Don's and my suspicions were at least right. The verse* you quote is from the NIV, a heretical text. That casts strong doubts that your church is actually leading people to Christ instead of Satan. As a True Christian™ pastor, it is my duty to keep my flock from being led astray into temptation. I would be letting down the good people of Landover Baptist if I simply allowed a site to be advertised which could corrupt their souls.

As for it being an "internet church" (which for some reason you feel is an offensive term), simply look at the title you created.

I really recommend you read some basic rules for noobs so that you may have a better understanding of our church and where we stand.

*The correct verse is this: My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.

He does Nancy. Currently he is watching the spot he reserved for you in hell where you will burn and be sodomized by Satan for all eternity. Pretending to be a church is the worst crime imaginable, your punishment will be extra severe .
