Is it that the Dutch language always makes people sound drunk, or does Dutch sound that way because all the Dutch are drunk? I've always wondered that. I'm half convinced that Dutch is English as spoken by a person blitzed out of their gourd.

And what is that obviously fake language that some of those Nether regioners pretend to speak? I can't think of which Nether region state they are from, but it transliterates to "Sluten Gluten, Rootin, Tootin, Feyrgen Beyrgen, Yah!"

You know the one I'm talking about. Don't tell me that 'language' wasn't invented by a 10 year old and adopted by their state as a practical joke on the rest of the world.

*Sigh* The point I'm trying to make is that God is a man made image of a perfect being. And the Bible is also written by men trying to prove that God exists, a lot of people believe it, but there is no God. It's the same as saying the flying spaghetti monster is real if there's a book written about it and many people believe it's real.

If you're an atheist, then why are you trying to "make a point" about God? Why are you here? This is a Christian forum. Are you trying to play "gotcha" with God's chosen?

Denying the existence of God is not unbelief but an exercise in self-deception. You may know things, but you cannot account for anything you know. Arguing against God's existence would be on par with arguing against the existence of air, breathing it all the while. You use the universal, immaterial, unchanging laws of logic, mathematics, science, and absolute morality in order to come to rational decisions, but you cannot account for them. These laws are not the only way God has revealed himself to you, but they are sufficient to show the irrationality of your thinking, and expose your guilt for denying Him.

There is a reason that you deny the existence of God and it has nothing to do with proof. I can show this to you. Do you think that you can continue to deny God because surely somewhere, sometime, a philosopher or scientist will come up with an explanation for universal, immaterial, unchanging laws apart from God?' Did you ever try to come up with an alternate explanation on your own?

Hoping that an alternate explanation for universal, immaterial, unchanging laws can someday be found apart from God, is a blind leap of faith, or wishful thinking. Isn't it interesting that this is exactly what professed unbelievers accuse Christians of?

Please examine the real reason why you are running from God. It is my prayer that God will open your eyes and change your heart so that you may be saved from your sin, embraced by His ferocious love, and that you will tithe robustly immediately using the Paypal button at the bottom of this page.

Again, atheists confuse God's opinion for our own. We believe what God thinks friend, without interpreting His word;

Sure, I do have opinions of my own (God gave us free will after all). For example; I prefer my wife's cherry pie over her apple pie. I tell her to only make cherry pie now and she obeys. Why? Because God demands she does.

I can only imagine you didn't put a video of MR Kent Hovind the lier on this post, and can therefore assume it's been manipulated.
For all you god fearing guys out there, here's a couple of Hovind ideas, he said in a seminar that he agrees with counting tree rings to determine the age of trees, which is a bit weird as trees have been dated this exact way, back past 10,000 years, oops silly Hovind
Another one is when he said that due to micro evolution, he agrees that a horse and a zebra probably had a common ancestor, except that we have to go further back in evolutionary history to find that common ancestor than we would if we wanted to find the common ancestor of us humans and our ape and monkey cousins, oops, another blunder, even your best guys are pretty rubbish at preaching lies lol

I don't believe in a God because there's no REAL evidence.

So let's get this straight. You say The Bible does not come from God because it was written by men. And how do we know it was written by men? Because it was not written by God. And the evidence for this? Because it was written by men. Have I got that right?

Or is it:
The Bible was written by men. How do we know this? Because it does not come from God. Is there any evidence for this (we ask)? Oh, yes (you say) yes yes there is. For a start, it was not written by God, and then we know that God didn't write it and that there isn't any God ..and ..and ..there's just so much evidence. So therefore, we conclude that it was written by men. And that is how we know there's no God.

Which is either circular reasoning, begging the question or affirming the consequent. Probably all three. Jesus said:

Check out verse 29 where did Jesus' authority come from? The scribes were a scholarly authority they had learning. Yet Jesus' authority was of a different calibre altogether, not like the Scribes' which means your fallacious arguments fall down at once just like that house upon the sand: and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell.

Our faith is not built upon shifting sands but upon rock, Christ The Rock, a solid foundation. "What is it like to be an atheist?" is the title of this thread and you have given us a glimpse into your bleak and empty world. How awful to be devoid of morals, obsessional, pitiless and utterly without hope.
