Never mind Canada, let us consider the <sarcasm alert> even more important choices being made in Europe. Today has seen elections to the Isle of Man Parliament. For those who are unfamiliar with the Isle of Man, it is somewhere in the sea between Britain and Ireland and has a population of a bit more than 80,000. It also has a flag which, not to mince words, quite frankly spits in the face of Jesus.



Given that the polls closed more than an hour-and-a-half ago, you would expect them to have counted the votes by now, wouldn't you? But no, just like our little Canukistani friends they are making a meal of it.

Would I be unreasonable to assume that God Hates the Isle of Man?

To answer your question, my dear Mrs. L-V, no you would not now nor never in the future ever would be considered unreasonable to assume God hates the Isle of Man.

I understand that the Nazis took over the Channel Islands during the War of Jewish Aggression. Is this place nearby? "Isle of Men" sounds gay as hell too, which certainly doesn't help their claims that they aren't Nazis.

I've heard they have a Manx gathering periodically where 50-odd thousand turn up in "leather gear" for a speakeasy-environment free for all. Many Christians have no wish to remember figure-hugging garments on themselves or others and the bangle, chains, pewter eyebrow studs, overdone hairstyles and ridiculous antics that may have seemed fun at the time but viewed through the mind of Christ are slippery slopes to everlasting torment.

Did He walk around with a big fat cigar, super strength Manx ale, 40lb of gold around His neck or "love" beads if He thought gold a bit too trashy with the ostrich hide onesie? I don't think so.

It's because many Christians left those things behind that when someone says it's just a braided neck ribbon (or whatever) the signal it's intend to send is recalled. And together with the leather it's evidently a big part of the Manx economy.

Well it looks like Ms. Markle is not going to win this time. The opposition - the SozialdemokratischeParteiDeutschlands - have edged ahead. Translated into American, this word means effectively the Nazis, and not the kind that want to make America great again.

Last time they held an election, also in 2021, it was won by Måneskin of the Zitti e buoni party, which translates as "Shut Up and Behave". I think that would be my vote if I still lived in France, but truly I'll never understand the EU's byzantine election process.

Agreed. They have this incredibly complicated system of direct elections, rather than trust the good old and oh so simple to understand - and explain - Electoral College system that we have over here.


In fact, how Electoral College works is so plainly obvious, that I will not bother to explain it to anyone that asks, because the person who would ask such a question would expose herself as helplessly stupid.

Do they even have a filibuster? I've heard they put up some legislation, something to distinguish the size of particles in [1] crushed and [2] ground nuts say, then any comments or objection may be heard (such as the presence or absence of skins with regard to choking I'm just making this up as I go but you get the idea) after which the elected representatives vote on it.

Is that any way to carry on?

You know Sister Mitza, no of course not. I don't even think the EU has a mechanism where the Vice President counts the final tally of votes but can throw out entire States on the basis of some stuff he heard from some guys. It's completely lacking in hidden checks and balances.

Meanwhile back in the Isle of Man, matters have taken an unexpected turn for the worse (unexpected in the sense that everyone thought it was already as bad as it could get) and in an almost Icelandic swing, more than 40% of the elected politicos are now women.

They're going to have to put another leg on that flag to honor their new Feminazi overlords.

See that? "Isle of Man" and then "Hebrides" - a clear reference to homosexual marriage!

Any sentence containing the words "Norway" and "Scotland" is bound to dis Christ.

As it happens I do escort Norwegians on shopping jaunts in Great Britain where for whatever reason ..anyway, never when visiting appropriate boutiques have I heard God referenced. It's as though they'd never known the price He paid.

Scotland does have some skilled glass- and crystal-workers I must admit but often include pagan motifs in their work. So difficult to keep the Norski's eyes directed where they should be and so often I failed as they bought up "Celtic knots" and trollopy fashion statements to take back home.

Sorry Jesus, maybe I let you down in Stavanger, even for the Nordics though renewal is possible. Just. Before it's too late.
