Joan Huffington: TRUE Christian for Kansas Governor

Even in a blue state like Kansas they are people who get what makes America GREAT(r) and Joan Heffington is one of them. She is running against the RINOs in the Kansas GOP looking to reclaim America for the Founding Fathers and Jesus.

Let is sample the highlights of her platform:

• Require that a Biblical and Constitutional reason exist for the passage of any new laws
• Stop fraud and corruption by overhauling our legal system, electing all judges and creating citizen review boards
• Repeal the War Powers Act so that Congress and the people must vote on decisions to go to war

Clearly she is going to take am at the secularization of American law (which is against the Constitution), activist judges who refuse to rule with the opinion of the majority of the districts they represent on the bench and stop the out of control post 1-20-09 power grab by Imperial presidency using the excuse of a so called "war on terror".

She is also the founder of the Association for Honest Lawyers.

I think Mrs Heffington has earned the Landover endorsement.

Does that mean (a) as The Lord is a Man of War - we always go to war? And
(b)can we have a vote to go to war with anyone? Something like, "Proposition 334, Nuke Mexico?" (I've never liked the Mexicans.)

I think that is the point Brother Bathfire. It's not the wars they chose that are the problem, it is the wars they wont wage. America needs desperately to attack Iran, Pakistan, North Korea, Cuba, Venezuela, Mexico, Canada and France to maintain world peace but the isolationists appeasers in the Obama regime constantly refuse to do that and fret about the Afghan war. The American people should have the right to vote for war when they want to and get the bussy bodies in Washington out of it.

I'd like to see that at all levels of government. All laws, from local zoning ordinances to the Patent Reform Act and laws regulating new technologies, should be supported in the Bible.

Oh Praise JESUS!

I'm writing letters to all my friends back home in Corn Null to make SURE they vote for Joan Heffington! Kansas needs good, honest True Christian conservatives to uphold the traditions and values that have made it one of THE greatest states in the country.

Also, I am including in my letters a petition not to change the spelling error on our hometown sign at the city limits. It reads Corn "Null" instead of Corn "Knoll," and some liberals have wanted to correct that for years.

Nobody actually knew the spelling was wrong until some time after they took prayer out of schools, but those of us who actually care about tradition and family values don't want it changed.

I'm sure future Governor Heffington would agree with me!

I just wanted to post this 4th of July poem that future Governor Heffington submitted to the Andover Voice newspaper:

Hot dogs, flags and apple pie,
family, friends and folk nearby
shooting off fireworks in the sky
but never really knowing why
my father had to die
in Viet Nam.

Mom tried hard to raise us right,
seemed like things were always tight,
it was awhile before I saw the light,
I just always wanted to fight
authority.

God finally told me not to cry,
my father’s mission was so that I
could seek the truth and not a lie
help the rich before they die
get to heaven.

Some day America will finally be
memories of what we used to see
more the “we” and not the “me”
so we don’t even need the tea
hooray – it’s finished!

Truly, I did not make it all the way through this poem the first time I started reading it. I began to tear up. My wife noticed and asked what's wrong. After I screamed at her to leave me alone and go to the kitchen, I attempted to re-read it and this time I finished.

This is what True Patriotism is about, and by the way, this is what great poetry should be like.
