I will try to state my case as simply as I can knowing that no matter how I try to dumb this down, liberals will not understand. Godly Republican Steve King had an epiphany while driving down Iowa's beutiful highways. Forced by liberal nanny-state laws he was wasting time that could be spent earning money or creating jobs. He calculated the amount of time he lost driving the speed limit in a life time and realized that if you add the times of everybody forced to drive an oppressive 55 MPH entire life times have been wasted.

Friends as Pro-Life True Christians it is our obligation to save life where ever we can and that includes little bits of life stollen from God fearing Americans every day by a socialist government that claims to know what a "safe" speed is for you and your family.

I know for a fact that I can safely drive my RV at well over 100MPH as long as no one gets in my way. If they do get in my way it's hardly my fault. Yet the government kills me a little bit everyday. They won't even let me fill the time sending text messages or checking email and as anyone in the Christian art buissiness knows any time spent off line could mean the loss of a sale to some hack selling pictures of a hippie Jesus.

Be pro-life friends, even if it's just a little bit of life.

God bless you Brother Godfly for pointing out the pro life aspect of speed limits.

As our outstanding Republican Brother, Steve King, noted, lifetimes are lost by driving too slow. Sucking away hours of our lives is no different than sucking away babies.

There is no way to get back an hour of your life that has been wasted.

As I recall, the speed limit was enforced to save oil. Any True Christian™ will know from reading God's Word that the earth was created for us to subdue and dominate it. God equips us to do just that. We need not worry about "saving" something the LORD has given us to do our jobs.

The safety aspect is yet another example of not trusting the LORD. That is why I have joined the cause and will show my faith by joining other True Christians™ in "Jesus, Take The Wheel" Day, Sunday, March 31, 2013 at 12:00am.

Next man in the white house must refudiate those anti-life speed limits. 55 mph, that's worse than Sweden where the speed limit on highways is usually 68 mph.

I am sure if Jesus was walking among us today He wouldn't accept anything less than 85 mph on the freeway and anything but a sin against God. In fact if the Pharisees were alive today they would crucify Christ for breaking the speed limit.

Maybe it's time to organize a "Go Fast For God" campaign to support Rep. King. If everyone broke the interstate speed limit, cops would just have to give up.

Together, we could change things.

The science of collision courses is well understood. If God wants two vehicles to collide then they will collide. Therefore the speed of the vehicles is largely irrelevant. God will cause them to miss each other if He wants them to do so.

Therefore God hates speed limits because they imply He doesn't want crashes to happen.

About 35,000 people were killed last year in the U. S. in traffic accidents. If you looked at each one of them individually, I would wager you could determine how each could have been prevented.

They happened due to losing control due to speed, drunk drivers, falling asleep, icy roads, brake failures and whatever. But, not one single one of them was prevented. God wanted each to happen.

If we reduced the speed limit, God would have to cause more brakes to fail. Why make Him mad?

Speed limits is murder and a sign of big government, kind of like in North Korea. If a car can drive in 115 mph, then it's meant to be driven in 115 mph, not to be slowed down by an some Obama-controlled totalitarian socialist government!

Exactly. Let the market decide the speed limit. One of my Escalades has had a few minor modifications, and I had it up to 175mph the other day. I know because I had Ofc. Richards clock me with his radar gun.
