Maybe you should do your research before you post. Around the 1700s, Newton published his laws of physics. And then over two hundred years later (a pretty big difference from a "few years"), Einstein built upon (notice the "built upon," not replaced) these theories. And the light speed thing is generally considered to be a calculation error now. Now, before you say "OMG THAT MEANS SCIENCE CAN MAKE MISTAKES," keep in mind that scientists were very skeptical about the faster-than-light-speed thing from the beginning, and they didn't start making other conclusions based upon it.

Calculation error? More like a measurement error, but that's just semantics.

What you should really gather from this CREN experiment is yet another proof that the sun is only a light in the firmament a few miles away.

Scientific proof? Let's first "assume" the scientist are right about everything: The universe, stars are billions of miles away, yadayadayada.
Then, when a supernova happens (with a lot more energy than a Large Ham Collider (what a curious name by the way) could manage here on Earth, I assure you), a lot of photoners and neutrinons are produced. Those travel through space, and after billions of years they reach us and we measure them. In that time, if neutrinons were able to exceed the speed of light, we should measure first the neutrinons, and then the photoners, right?

Spoiler: They never did.

So, if the stars are billions of miles away, this means that there was no chance at all that the scientists were right, and they should not have presented their "facts" as remotely possible, and only have said: We made an error, can anyone track it down. Now they just look silly.

But, one cannot imagine they made such a glaring basic oversight, so the stars cannot be miles away, and the scientists must've lied to us when they said they were. QED.

That's pretty much what they did. They tried to keep an open mind about it, on the ridiculously miniscule off-chance that they did actually go faster than the speed of light, but many of them believed from the start that they had made a mistake.

That is a reference to a measurement that you might like to verify. Pastor in no way suggests that the volume of air we breathe is spherical IN SHAPE but the upper reaches will be close to the concave underside of the firmament.

The question really is how much of a smug, self absorbed idiot, proud his ignorance are you AntiChrist?

It is a quite Orthodox and main stream Christian belief that The Bible is a God's message to man using various prophets - like Moses, as note takers or God Himself, in the case of Jesus. While unbelievers may agree or disagree on this you simply can not be a Christian and hold the Bible is nothing but a collection of man made fictional stories. In a nut shell, ALL Christians believe The Bible is divinely inspired.

May I suggest you consider at least reading Wiki to get the very basics before spewing you witless ignorance?

Have you ever been in a courtroom? There will be a lady up front, usually very plain-looking, and she will be tapping away on a machine that looks like a small typewriter. She is the court reporter and she takes down every word that is spoken while court is in session.



Now ask yourself: did she WRITE that court transcript? Or did she merely DOCUMENT what was said.

Think of the men who recorded God's Word as court reporters (but not so frumpy).
