    Pray for my girlfriend

    She has a life threatening illness known as "Mitochondrial Disease Types I and II Defects"

    I need all the help I can get for her. Her days are numbered. She is not a True Christian(tm) but she is Catholic. I can't help that, that's how she was raised.

    I ask you, please look past that and see that she makes it in your prayers. Her days are limited and she needs all the help she can get.

    Please allow me to fix a typo, she has Mitochondrial Disease Types I and III Defects, not I and II. A little more background information:

    She probably won't live to see twenty. Her heart and liver are slowly failing and there is no cure.

    Please, find it in your heats.

      Shouldn't she be praying for herself? I can't pray for everybody, you know.

        Pal, you can't even make up your mind what kind of disease Jesus has punished her with. How are we supposed to pray for her? What if we prayed for her to be cured of something she doesn't have? What good would that do her? None!

        Anyway she's a papist and therefore doomed to eternal hellfire. I think you need to get a new girlfriend. Try a Christian one this time.

          Kyle, Catholics are often taken before their time. If she can toss away those Mary-beads and get right with GOD, she might have a chance. Personally, I have no knowledge of MTI/III surviving, but let us pray.

            I'll pray for her, Kyle.

            Lord, I ask you to open the eyes of Curious Kyle's girlfriend in these her last days. Lead her down the narrow path to Heaven paved in the blood of Christ, and not to the fiery doom that you have ordained for those of the Catholic religion. As you send your Spirit onto her, Lord, and her eyes open onto to your ways, please take her life immediately, before some "priest" or family member causes her to question her new-found faith.

                      Is she dead yet? I would like to focus my prayers on somebody else now, preferably not a catholic.

                            Christians are all too often accused of being of a simple mindset, so you'll forgive me if I ask you to confirm that you are not with this woman merely to inherit her vast fortune and, after her demise, live a life of debauchery on the proceeds of her estate.
