On first observation, "Angela Tinker" is Cody's grandmother or grandmother-in-law. I'm not going to bother checking.

Suffice it to say that if people who are living in sin call the 'authorities' to complain that they have been caught lying, doing drugs and searching for porn on the Internet, nothing much will come of it.

I understand that you feel that way, Billy, but just hear me out: Not all women want fancy clothes or jewelry. Trust me, I as a woman refuse such things as they are a waste of time and effort. I know full well that I should take care of my body; it was a gift given by God himself, and frankly, I don't think heavy jewelry, constricting clothing, or poisonous makeup -- yes, actually, makeup is what made us look stupid in the first place, because when it was made with wax it caused severe brain damage, which gave men every reason to call us inferior -- is a rightful way of thanking God for such a gift. I also think a good way of caring for your body is not letting it be abused. I know what you're going to say: "If she hadn't burned that food, she wouldn't have earned a beating." Well, it's kinda hard to keep track of everything when you're leading such a stressful lifestyle, constantly afraid that you're going to be beaten for breathing the wrong way because you know how irrational men can be... I mean, physical violence? Why would God tell you to harm one of His most prized creations? You know what? Forget it. There is absolutely no reasoning with you, and it just makes me so sad that you will never understand. There's no law that says Christianity and psychology can't both be true. So, men and women think differently. That doesn't necessarily make either of us wrong. How could you truly love someone and still strike that much fear and pain and hopelessness into their lives? I'm actually in tears thinking about any woman who has to live with you, about any woman who has to live with men anything like you, who spend their whole lives being beaten and downtrodden and wondering what they did to make God hate them so much. I can barely see the screen for crying so hard. How can you not believe that everyone is entitled to make a mistake? I mean, if humans can damn other humans or save other humans, why can't they forgive other humans? It's what Jesus would do. I can't see Jesus treating any woman like a slave or a punching bag. You say you have a justifiable reason every time you hit a woman, and so does every other man, but how are we to know you're competent enough to make that decision? Who are you decide that every man on Earth should have a seat of power with a woman as his footrest? All I can think is how much I thank God that I don't have to live with people like you anymore. You don't even know how much I'm grieving for those poor women who succumb to your fundamentalist lifestyle, and I just sit here thinking... you know, I know in my heart that my God would never do this to His own. He wouldn't hold His daughters down while His sons beat them mercilessly. How can you lead such a monstrous life? Do you know how much pain you're causing her? Do you know what she goes through at your hands? You're pretty much punishing her for being born! Why would God condone such behavior? God is loving and merciful to His followers, and you should be too! I respect life in all its forms, and I would never think of hurting another living creature. Maybe I'm just too loving for this place, and for that you've brought me to tears. Just the thought of it... No. I can't take this anymore. If this is how you people live... I only wish there were something I could do, but it's out of my hands. You just have no idea the pain you've caused me by even mentioning your way of life. I condone only those lifestyles that bring no harm to anyone else, but this is completely uncalled for. How you can, in all good conscience, believe this is beyond me. Maybe it is because I'm a stupid woman. Well, I'd rather be that than a heartless man. God understands humans better than anyone else, so He knows full well that abusing them is no way to get them to love you, respect you, or coexist peacefully with you if it's within their power. Clearly, you're taking away all their power, dumbing them down and making them believe they deserve this life... It's just not right! Nobody deserves this! I wouldn't wish it on my enemies! I don't know if you've ever been on the other side of the tracks, Billy, but if you'd seen your mother rendered defenseless against a man twice her size, watched her being roughed up until she's barely recognizable, all because your father had a bad day at work and his rationalizing led him to blame his wife... maybe you'd understand. You just have no idea what she had to suffer through at the hands of men like you. You couldn't know. You have no way of knowing. I only hope you obtain some idea of how that feels before you die so God won't hold it against you that you spent your whole life destroying your fellow humans, breaking their spirits until there's nothing left but an unrecognizable pile of rubble... That hurts, man. It hurts so much more than you could possibly imagine. Wounds of the flesh are nothing compared to how it feels to have your soul torn down bit by bit and worse yet, not knowing any kind of antidote. You don't know there's a way out, you don't know that you don't have to live this way, you don't know it's not your fault... and when you find out, it hurts that much more that you wasted all this time dying inside, and after you're dong grieving the death of the whole person you used to be, you try to rebuild your life and move on, but you don't know which way to go because you lost yourself along the way and she was the only one who knew where to go... Well, it's lucky that God points all souls in the right direction, not just the male ones. And as far as I'm concerned, gender doesn't even matter except in reproducing and public restrooms. You're just renting your body anyway. It's your soul that matters in the end, and I can only guess how many you and your kind have maimed.
