*MEN ONLY* Question about marrige

Luke 14:26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.

While I was meditating on this scripture this morning during my quite time I realized we have to hate our wives also.

Im not married yet but looking. But I would appreciate any advise on how we can show our love for Jesus by hating our wives.

Married men, how do you show your hate towards your wife?

Hank, Brother Hutchins offers an excellent suggestion. I would also like to add that throwing your wife's meals out the front door and having her remake it, for it breakfast, lunch and dinner is also an effective display of hate for your wife.

Jesus loves us more if we hate our wives, as the Bible says.

I did this about 10 years back. After coming home from a 14 hour day of working like a dog earning for my family I found my wife serving supper to our kids. Pork Chops. Rare. I mean, Eskimos are cool with rare food, but pork isn't something you can do rare. Not even Eskimos. So I scooped up the kids plates, and instead of cooking the pork properly, I threw it in the garbage. Then I made spaghetti and meat sauce for the kids, glaring at my wife the whole time.

It worked wonderfully. She got the point and hasn't cooked a meal since.

Actually, it has been proven that you can catch more flies with vinegar than honey.

Just because something is a "saying" doesn't make it true.

People for some reason believe that there were only THREE wise men though the bible never actually numbers them.

We must strike down all such myths and prevarications and replace them with the truth of our Lord!
