And this was been the weakest argument on why you would ever think that women need to be hit. What about all the male abusers in the world, who beat their wives to death? Do you people have no respect for women?

You are correct dear, most men have no respect for women. Thousands of unsaved atheist women are beaten to death every year by their heathen husbands. People who do not follow Christ have no moral compass. For a man like that, killing his wife is very similar to stepping on an insect.

But True Christian™ men discipline their wives out of a sacred love that they share with Christ. Guiding a mere woman to salvation, be it through prayer or corporal punishment, is the duty of every Christian husband.

I am EXTREMELY happy with the discipline my husband provides, as per THE BIBLE. (Ephesians 5:22-24)

I completely agree that women need Spanking. Several years ago I would never have said that!
When I was about to get married, we lived with my mother-in-law (to be). One night, my fiance and I had a fight and he was so mad, he left. On the way out, he told his mom he doesn't know what to do or how to handle me. I heard her tell him "I'll take care of her!"
A few moments later she came upstairs to our/my room and told me to stay where I was, which was laying on my stomach reading a magazine. Before I knew what was happening, she had sat down beside me and leaned over my back while she spanked by butt! I was pinned down this way and couldn't move!! I was BEYOND upset! I'm an adult woman and she was not allowed to punish me like that!
I told her to stop spanking me but she wouldn't! Instead, she told me that I'm not getting a Spanking. She said I was going to get the butt beating of my life!!! This old woman was crazy! Not to mention strong!!
Luckily I had my jeans on! Unfortunately they did not have back pockets though!! Basically, I felt every smack on my bottom that night! She spanked me pretty fast and hard for about 10 minutes!
She got up and said that if I talk back to her or yell at her son when he gets home, she's getting her wooden hairbrush and coming back for a 'hard paddling'!

I didn't say a peep!!!

I was very angry! Let me tell you!

Christian television personality Pat Robertson stoked controversy today by telling a female caller that disobedient wives should be spanked by their husbands.

On a segment on the long-running 700 Club the 83-year-old Robertson explained to a woman seeking relationship advice that an occasional slap in the rear is the clearest path to marital bliss.

"Ma'am, with all due respect, it seems like the problem in your marriage is disobedience," he told the caller. "When a wife disobeys her husband the holy bond between the two starts to disintegrate and all sorts of problems start to crop up.

Lack of communication skills is the top (some sites say infidelity, but they also say communication is the second top cause) suspected cause of divorce, how can the wife communicate her feelings if under threat of being beaten. I don't know Gods accurate opinion on it but this system does seem to be the one that works. Like i said before, the top cause of divorce is the inability to communicate. This system that I describe is not only the most common one, it also allows much more communication between the husband and wife than the one described here.
