    Friend,

Back off, Mr McManus is victim of reverse domestic violence. The man is clearly the victim here of his passive aggressive, self kidnapping wife.

Time to reclaim our FREEDOM from the “Mullah in Chief” and his growing activist voter hoards of socialists, communists, anti-Semites, anti-Christians, atheists, radical gays and lesbians, feminists, illegal immigrants, Muslims, anti-Anglo whites and others.

With all due respect, I can't ignore the lie. If you take the Bible literally, and I know you do, you shouldn't ignore it either.

Brother Bobby-Joe would recognize a lie if he saw one. It is not your place to contradict him. Clearly Mr. McManus was confused because of his circumstances. He was not lying.

Not according to the Holy Bible.

              1 Corinthians 11:3
But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

              1 Corinthians 14:34-36
Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law. And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.

              Ephesians 5:22-24
Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.

              Colossians 3:18
Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord.

              1 Timothy 2:11-15
Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. For Adam was first formed, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing.

              1 Peter 3:1
Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands.

Actually I have found one piece of scripture that does support your wild claim,

Exodus 21:20 And if a man smite his servant, or his maid, with a rod, and he die under his hand; he shall be surely punished. 21Notwithstanding, if he continue a day or two, he shall not be punished: for he is his money.

Female slaves should be beaten in the exactly the same way as male slaves. There, some equality for you, happy now?

Which relation he… um, fornicated up? The one with God - by strictly obeying his commandments - or the one with his disobedient, God-mocking wife? Which one is more important by your opinion?

Fear not, God will reward His faithful.

Are you familiar with the story of Job in the Old Testament? Our LORD allowed Job to loose everything, his wife, his children, his home and all his livelihood. But Job would not speak out against the LORD because he knew God is good all the time, all the time God is good! The LORD rewarded him with another wife and some other children and even more riches than before!

Welcome to the friendliest forum on the internet!

Your question is a very good one and I am honored to share the love of Christ with you. The answer to your question, on what place on earth should it be right to hit a woman, is of course when you love her and desire a peaceful, respectful relationship. In the Holy Gospel, the book Hebrews tells us, " Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby." (Hebrews 12:11)

You see, this is because God has a perfect plan for us. "Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing." (Eph. 5:22-24)

A man who truly loves his wife would do no less than to correct her as he would himself, but since he cannot step into her head (only God can read our minds), he would correct her physically. It is in the nature of a woman to rebel and so this is the only way to keep peace. " Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church. (Eph. 5:25-29)

A woman who loves her husband and who loves God would naturally obey her husband, even as he corrects her. "To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed." (Titus 2:5)

But enough about us women, tell us friend, where do you fellowship with other Christians, what is your favorite verse and how much do you love Jesus?
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you!
