Nonsense, the pig is not a building block so there is no reason whatsoever why it would have to look like blocks. Also modern video cards are very capable of rendering much more decent graphics. There can be only one conclusion here. The maker of this game wants to mock God!

The block style of the game is intended to be an aesthetic quality, that allows for the game developer's love of "retro" styled gaming to show through. The poor textural representation of substances are a feature of this "retro" graphical style, and though I do not personally know the developer's religious opinions/affiliations, I would have to assume that he did not purposefully mean to "mock God" as you put it. If you contact the developer with your views in a civil manner, I am rather sure that he would affirm that the game had no religious intentions. In addition, while modern computers are capable of running much higher forms of graphical rendering, the game was originally coded by one individual, and such intensive work as polygonal models usually requires much more time and work than an individuals personal hobby usually amasses. Griefing is in fact the destruction of an individual's creations, but is not an intended purpose of the game, but rather users of the game misusing the tools given to them to harm others, as tends to be human response to any form of tool. The large constructions that this user seems to have done do not seem to have a sexual meaning, they merely have floating spherical bodies as an architectural element. I do agree that suggesting that they were intended to be a sexually representative item may be seen as a logical fallacy. As to your ideas on the economic side of minecraft, the game is about survival and creation, no different than a basic form of rugged individualism, after one learns to survive they then learn to thrive, this does not contradict capitalist beliefs, nor does it assure those of the socialist intention.
Applying religious views to a negligible aspect of casual entertainment when they were not intended as part of the item does seem to diminish the importance and reliability of your point, and presents itself as lessening the intention of your message. While I know that you intended to warn others about what you saw as a growing threat to the Word of God, I can assure you, that the game has no religious, economic, or philosophical agenda in it.

Also, yes, I do realize that I am replying to a very dated post. I just felt that I needed to voice my opinion on the subject, thank you for taking your time to read my post.

Greetings all Landover Baptist Church Forum users. I have been observing your thread on Minecraft, and I have to point out errors not in this argument, but your overall presentation of this argument.
1. No usage of citation of where you got your info. This would really boost your credibility, for God is not enough with the people of today, if you want to be listened to, get info from the source and add it in with your spill. Guaranteed to up your ethos.
2. Over usage of pathos to the point of idiocy. Yes, it is important to empathize with the audience, but over doing it with all this flavor text about hell and damnation will scare the willies out of the normal person, heaven or hell bound.
3. Your logic, well, it's all based on your opinion rather than any logic I can deduce. "Minecraft servers can be used by pedophiles!" Forums such as this one can also be accessed by pedophiles.d
