    Also consider this:
Matthew 5:29-30 - And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

Sound Doctrine: Mormonism is NOT Christianity

        You've just killed Christianity.

Oh, wait, NO, you didn't. You just keep denying what Christianity is while demanding the right to be considered in the same class as those who do follow our only guide to what God and Jesus want (the Bible).

And what was the demand Job made? I missed that bit. He expressed annoyance but never addressed any complaints to God and of all the world's literature surely Job would be about the most demand-free tome ever written?

As Curtis here is unable to write in complete sentences, I'll explain this one for him.

Story of Job is great because it shows how to kill God's boredom. You don't want God to be bored, do you? If He's bored He might start working on creating another Black Death Plague that would wipe out 3/4 of humanity again.

Hence, it's better that God plays with life and death of one family, rather than 3/4 of humanity. Yes, God killed all of Job's sons and daughters. But after God won that bet, He rewarded Job with new sons and daughters. It's not like Job was emotionally attached to the first bunch of his children or something. They were just children, after all. As a good God-fearing man, all he wanted is to have a certain number of children, so after he got the new ones, I'm sure he wasn't mourning the dead ones anymore.

Wouldn't you, Roland, be happy and grateful if God replaced all of your children that He had killed, with new ones?

Well, you should be. Or face the consequences of if you aren't!

P.S.: And, as it was duly noted by Sister Mitza, Job did not actually require God to do anything - like a good obedient dog, Job just kept unconditionally praising the Hand that kept punishing him for no good reason.

This comes into the same category as Job making demands.

In your review perhaps you could include something about what happened to Job's wife? Some topics of interest would be whether she made demands and how many children she produced. Chapter 42 may be useful, particularly where comments from Eliphaz, Bildad, and Zophar are concerned. Sometimes they are quoted as representing God's majesty but in fact only Job's statements are endorsed by The Creator.

Do you remember the bit where I suggested quoting actual Job rather than the Jonathan Swift allegory? God's deal with Satan kicks off in chapter 1
                        Job 1:9-12
and develops over time. Now there is a tradition about Mrs Job coming from the defunct Hebrew religion and if that's what you're referring to a source would be appreciated. Perhaps there are multiple traditions or even multiple Mrs Jobs? But if you're just going to spout off
MRS JOB WAS A JINN FROM THE FIRMAMENT
whatever, why should I consider your claim? If I suddenly announced that Job was Siamese twins, how would you react?

And this is proof, if proof be need be that God loves us so much that He will literally destroy someone's life strengthen that love in His creations!

No father could love His son more than to pile heaps upon piles upon heaps of torment on him in an act of conditional love.

Do you even know what a Bible is?!? Because now I have proof that you have never actually read it.

Here is a good place to start:

                                Job 1:6-12
6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them.
7 And the Lord said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.
8 And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?
9 Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?
10 Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.
11 But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face.
12 And the Lord said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the Lord.

What follows is the description of Satan killing Job's animals and servants (Job 1:15-17) and children (Job 1:18-19). Please note that Satan killed all bot one servants, as he needed one alive to tell Job the bad news. Very nice touch.

Jobs first wife was a she demon
My KJV Bible doesn't say that.

I'm beginning to suspect that you are a demon.

and wanted Job to turn from God and he refused she tried and tried to make him give up on God the devil saw opportunity and took it but only won over the wife (seems to be a pattern like with Eve)

The Holy Bible does not say that, sweetie!

in the end Job lost his money kids and home to the devil
Satan killed Job's children, servants, and animals, solely because God allowed him to do so.

yet remains loyal to God so God punishes the wife and rewards Job with a new better life (God allows us to suffer because we have free will to choose what path we take in life life) our loyalty to God gains us rewards
So you agree, that parents should not mourn their deceased children in hopes that God will give them new and improved replacements?

That's very Biblical of you, but I don't think you have ever seen a parent who has lost a child, sunshine.
