That seems an odd name for a person from the state that brings us that esteemed statesman, Mitch McConnell and of course the unstable Rand Paul. I think Mr. Paul was named after a road atlas or perhaps his father had a Remington Rand product and decided to honor his son with its moniker.


Either way, I am skeptical of your sincerity about Jesus and I pray that the Holy Ghost convicts you of your sins and brings you to your knees. We are a holy church here, full of the Lord and exceedingly welcoming, but we ask for - nay, demand - that people are honest with us. We've dealt with all manner of sin and all manner of sinners. We can help you on the pathway to paradise or push you over the precipice into perdition if Jesus leads us that way.


Choose heaven! The flames of Sheol burn with a vicious torment and there is no amount of Kentucky moonshine that will quench those blazes.

Thanks for the welcome. I really am into Christianity, but I've never delved deep into it. My name has nothing to do with discriminating our Gods world, it is ment to be IAmTheGood.

That is nice, that you are "into" Christianity. What is your favorite Bible verse, then? (Maybe naively, but I am assuming that a person declaring herself to be into Christianity would have read the book which is the foundation of this religion).

I read the bible a really long time ago but I am still following all the Christian ways. My favourite verse is Pslam 34:8 Taste and see that the LORD is good, blesses is the one who takes refuge in him.

Excellent choice, although we prefer the King James Bible here:

Psalm 34:8 O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

It's a good psalm indeed. It tells us what is the most important emotion that we should feel toward God:

Psalm 34:7 The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.

Psalm 34:9 O fear the Lord, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.

Psalm 34:11 Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the Lord.

False Christians would like us to believe that we are supposed to love God. This psalm tells us no - God doesn't care about our love, we are to fear Him. We are supposed to follow His laws out of fear, not out of love.
