Priesthood presence at church building during Activity Days

    Hi,

Is there an official church policy that states that there must be at least one (or more) priesthood holder at the church building during church activities? I have some concerns about the lack of a priesthood presence during Activity Days which are held during the week at the church building in the late afternoon. My 9 year old daughter attends and, fortunately, my job gives me the flexibilty to be there every time except when I travel. Most of the time I'm the only male (priesthood holder) at the building, so when I cannot make it I'm pretty sure that there is no male presence there (which makes me very nervous). I'm going to raise my concerns with the Bishop, but wanted to see if there is an official church policy.

    Please help.

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.

    Thanks!
My question to you, dear, is what exactly is it that you do as a "priesthood holder"? Do you take priests hostages? Or is it an expression relating to homosexual activities?

In each case, it seems to me you are on your way to . Repent for your sins and accept Jesus into your heart before it's too late!!

      Thanks!
Sir, your post reminds me of a funny incident that occurred during my brief employment with the Walmart Corporation years back.

There was a woman on the phone asking directions to the Columbia store. I tried to direct her, using many local landmarks and street designations to orient her journey to the store. She recognized none of them.

Finally, she asked for the complete address including the zipcode so that she could use something on the computer to guide her. (As if my True Christian™ wisdom and experience weren't enough to help her in her time of need.)

It turned out, that woman thought she was calling the Walmart location in Columbia, South Carolina, rather than the one in Columbia, Maryland.

In a similar manner, you must be sending your daughter to some false church location in some misdirected part of the country.

Because, based on the details and odd dialect that you are using, you sure as shootin' aren't dropping off your child to an authentic True Christian™ Landover Baptist Church sponsored child care facility.

Sending us a post asking about our staffing structure and Pastoral hierarchy makes as much sense as calling the Vatican to find out where your daughter can study for her Bat Mitzvah.

Now, go check on your kid, you fool, before she's married off to some 60 year coot for less than her approved Biblical value.
His left hand should be under my head, and his right hand should embrace me.

        Hello Robert,

You are involved in a false religion. You are not a priest just by virtue of being a man. And you shouldn't want to be a priest anyway. That's some papist heresy you Mormons are imitating.

How about that? Heretics imitating heretics.

It is my understanding that Catlick priests have no interest in young girls. So, I don't see what the problem is.

Catholics have a long history they've tried to hide of homosexuality and raping young "choir boys". Their overzealous demands for money to bedazzle the Pope's hat also doesn't sit well with me. Doesn't it say in The Bible that idolatry is a sin? I worship God and Jesus. Not some man who claims to have God speak to him and who thinks he can decide what God thinks is right vs what's written in The Bible!!!!

Mormons normally have a Bishop on hand not to mention every male Is an Aaronic or higher, so for there not to be any present is a sign of God saying get out of there.

                Priests! Nine-year-old girls! Bishops! Mormons!

What, for crying out loud, is going on!?!

Are we some soup-kitchen and social work outfit set up to deal with abominations, lairs, murderers and con-men? Are we supposed to solve the problems of a deluded sect of maniacs who rewrote the Bible at the behest of a womanizing criminal drunkard?

                I think NOT!

2Co:6:14: Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
2Co:6:15: And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
2Co:6:16: And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
