All has been going well at my leadership role at Olive Street Fellowship...and yes, I still eschew traditional Churchian trappings (they just call me Paul, no fancy titles)...so I figured you need me again.

It's probably an abbreviation of "Piss All Under the Lid" - basically it means "brainless." And I've never seen "Tarzan" as a fancy title.

the Hebrew scriptures and the Jewish religion were GUIDELINES for God's people to follow until He sent His only begotten Son...from that point on, we didn't need any religion any more...we have the Word made flesh! I will post one of my favorite comics "Churchianity vs. Christianity, "which is a comic book version of Paul the Apostle's letter to the Galatians and basically explains my whole view.

You never quite covered what you think "GUIDELINES" means. For example, when God suggests a "guideline" relating to idols how should that be understood? Or concerning The Promised Land. How would such "guidelines" be implemented?

One does have to wonder if this Paul Person is trying to equate God and His Bible proffering 'Guidelines' with a server at the Four Seasons suggesting we try the Salmon. When everyone knows damn well God expects us to have the Porterhouse.

Do you mean as though God suggested "maybe" exterminate all the Jerichoites except for a kindly harlot or on the other hand why not adopt their religion (whatever it was) as a mark of respect due to their having built Jericho and stuff after all who are we to put on dog with trumpets: Hey! A trumpet is pretty loud ya know? bring along the drums and we could do a 96-hour celebration of cultural enrichment; us; you; Rahab could do the costumes and we've picked up some pretty good recipes for toadstool punch along the way..
