Hello and a very cautious welcome. That other abomination you wrote, that was a blasphemy - however, as long as you have not blasphemed against the Holy Ghost, you still can be forgiven (Matthew 12:31-32).

If you truly want to learn about God, ou could - and should - start by reading the Holy Bible. All of it, not just a few nice sounding verses. If you cannot afford a hard copy (please note that many churches hand them out for free), online version is a free resource:

I am not sure, why the confusion? Isn't the verse written in plain American?

That yes! I faced some confusion, Jesus is not the son of Joseph, and Mary is married to Joseph... so, do you see the point? Or does God get some kind of creator immunity to the rule in their own book?

No. Your level of ignorance surrounding the circumstances of the conception of our Beloved Lord Jesus is, quite frankly, extraordinary. But we are not here to spoon-feed uneducated trolls who infest these forums. You need to actually READ the Bible (King James Version, 1611) to find out what happened.

The information you require is found in the New Testament, but I would not recommend that you start there: just as when you are watching one of your violent "box sets", or reading your asinine fan-fiction, it is important to begin at the beginning (Genesis) and read all the way through, to the end. Then stop. If you are still confused, think about what you have read, and read it again to clear up any remaining questions.

As an intelligent, well-built, handsome certified equine gnathologist and doctoral candidate, I am well-versed on things of the Holy Bible. You have selected a forum here which is filled with Godly Men who will give you solid instruction on the Word of God - instruction that comes from the Word itself; what better source of instruction? (2 Timothy 3:16)


I hope as you read the Bible (you ARE reading it now, right?) and come across things that require further explanation, you'll go to our pastors for the most spiritually enlightened clarification available. I offer myself for guidance as well, but the staff of Landover Baptist Church has years of constant communion with Jesus Himself and the Holy Spirit guides these men in every daily action. Glory!


Before you read the Holy Word each time, ask the Lord to grant you spiritual wisdom and edification. He will not fail you. Oh - and one more thing: Even all those begats and begots are important! Just as a county must know its history, so should a church know its beginnings. Memorizing those lineage verses will make you a more well-rounded man. I know it did so for me.


You may have noticed that some of the womenfolk here are quick to explain things to you, and this may confuse you as you will read that women are not to usurp the authority of a man. By offering their help, I assure you they are not usurping you, but rather they are offering gentle guidance in the scriptures and, therefore, are not sinning. If they do, they know the discipline will be swift and the rebukes made solidly in Jesus Name. Some of these women make poor life choices, (I won't mention names) but if they are True Christians(TM) you may rely on their wisdom on things having to do with the Word. Praise God!

No one is going to grab the mask off the supernatural creature only to find Old Man Jenkins holding the remote control to his slide projector which has been tucked behind the bales of hay in the upper half of the barn. While it may seem that way to those who have only a passing understanding of Scripture, to those who think the idea of being cleansed by the Blood of Christ is really nothing more than standing at the door of the party with a Jesus-faced mask fooling the old butler, in reality it's far more beautiful and regal and supernatural!
