Paging Miss Raven. Miss Raven? Are you there, Dear? Have we lost you already? Please, do give us assurance that it will not be another ten years before we hear from you. We do care; on that you can depend and never worry.

We have another poster who shows up every seven years. I don't remember her name, but it's about 3 posts every 7 years. I guess some people are just extremely slow thinkers (?).

Indeed. Lady's father missed the opportunity to beat some good sense into his daughter when she was young enough to learn from such lessons. Jesus tells us how we can discern loving parents from abusive parents who hate their children and neglect their eternal well-being:
He that spareth his rod hateth his son:
but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.
        Proverbs 13:24
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

I'm not aware of any rapture theories. There are only rapture facts. One important detail concerns deceased persons. Queen Victoria or Julius Caesar are easy enough, as Daniel makes clear. Here he is describing various kings, tzars, dictators, ayatollahs, whatever – all carrying on much as they usually do but with increased intensity.

Daniel 11:44-45; 12:1-2 But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him [one of the kings] therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many. And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him. And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

Vicki and Jules are dead. They will come back to life and we'll see what happens then, whether they awaken to shame and everlasting contempt or to everlasting life. These are not "theories" but simple historical facts. Next, God explains, dead Christians will resurrect and living Christians will zoom up to meet them. Again, not something I'm "interpreting" but straightforward future history recorded by Paul (and earlier by Daniel) which is easy to read and understand.

I Thessalonians 4:16-16 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first

What about someone who died that day? Earlier there was a question about cannibals. What would happen to a missionary still in the pot but half eaten? That would be a dead Christian but the concept of resurrection in those circumstances is difficult. But also easy. If we're alive at the time we'll see that missionary in the clouds and if not, we'll be alive again, also in the clouds, greeting one another. No need to make up "theories" because it's right there, straight from God (Paul says so) in black and white. Hallelujah!

It will come like a thief in the night - no one knows when, no one knows how. Any "theory" is therefore wrong. (See also "theory of evolution" and "theory of gravity")
              2. What are some good bible study methods?
Get some friends round; take your KJV; take turns to read a random verse. Points are awarded for the book, chapter and verse. Afterwards, discuss some of the verses and test how well they work out of context.
              3. What music artists and bands do you believe are biblically accurate?
None. They all make compromises to make the lines rhyme. The Bible is not there to be sung - anymore than interpretive dance might teach you about Jesus.

WARNING - LINK CONTAINS INTERPRETIVE DANCE

                NOT FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES

"Is that even a thing?" I thought. Well yes it is. In that clip, Jesus begins His ministry at 3:15 and I maybe obtuse here – but I didn't learn anything extra from interpretive dance in this case. Actually, if I didn't already know the story, I would have had very little comprehension what was being represented. Thank you for your word of caution and I hope this demonstration will be useful.

How often do these wretches repel Christ? They could almost be called Christophobic, anyway that is their interpretive dance.

That's kind of similar to my situation, but with me it's not because I'm a slow thinker, just a slow writer... and also I'd been given a labor of Hercules to complete. One of the good people here demanded that I write a 500 word apology or devotional or something before they'd forgive me for whatever it was I'd offended them with at the time... and I don't know if you've ever tried to do that, but that is a LOT of writing. It's almost a term paper. Anyway, I'd FINALLY gotten it written only to come back here and find out these people had let me out of jail anyway. Thank you, Brother Elmer! You've given me some food for thought!

But with this mediation, does it work the other way also? Like if I ask you a question would it get back to Him so that you'd be able to give me His answer?

Because I have one about what you just said... praying without ceasing, well, this can cause some awkward moments. Praying while being on the toilet comes to mind. Without being vulgar, there are noises and odors and things that would be very distracting when trying to pray. It almost seems blasphemous to pray at such a time!

Did Jesus and the disciples have prayer sessions while answering the call of nature? I think they used something like this:

Proverbs 26:11   As a dog returneth to his vomit, so a fool returneth to his folly.
