Thank you for admitting that Democracy is a Christian (as in white, Baptist) concept. After all even the most causal observation of Islamic countries show it's certainly isn't an Islamic one.

I have no quarrels with any Christians. For as Allah tells us in 5:82

"You will surely find the most intense of the people in animosity toward the believers [to be] the Jews and those who associate others with Allah ; and you will find the nearest of them in affection to the believers those who say, "We are Christians." That is because among them are priests and monks and because they are not arrogant."

And yet all Christian countries are in the House of War on the Islam maps. Such fellowship. :rollseyes:

And since we are bantering care to explain this to me; since we both agree that God is perfect, all knowing, all powerful and active in the world how do mere mortal men screw His message to the World that God has to keep revising it? That suggest God is incompetent or uncaring, which undermines the whole message of Islam. So explain the contradiction.

I think it sums up Jesus very well.

Not one place in the 66 (73) books of the Bible does Jesus claim to be God or the son of God..

I believe Jesus to be one of Gods greatest messengers. The Messiah. He healed the sickly and performed miracles. All by the will of God. Not his own. As he himself states in:

Luke 11:20 - But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come on you.

Matthew 12:28 - But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come to you.

Matthew 28:18 - And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, All power is given to me in heaven and in earth.

So. The Divine power was never his own. It was given to him by God.

Glory to God for giving such power unto men.

And finally. It seems God has a lot of sons.

Exodus 4:22 - And you shall say to Pharaoh, Thus said the LORD, Israel is my son, even my firstborn.

Jeremiah 31:9 - They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.

They are all equal indeed. You can draw any prophet you want though not in a condescending way. As you yourself point out, many middle age drawing exist and no fuss have been made over those.

Today, drawing Muhammad at all is punishable by death, not just "in a condescending way".

There is nothing Christian about Democracy. The Bible tells us that Jesus will return and rule as KING, with absolute power and absolute, unchanging law. It says nothing about "the will of the people"!

Christians are only concerned with the will of the people until we are able to establish a theocracy, much like in many Muslim nations, only worshiping God instead of Satan. It has taken over 200 years to manipulate "freedom of religion" into "freedom to be Christian and preach to others using taxpayer funds whether taxpayers like it or not", and we're not quite there yet . . . but with the TEA Party convincing retirees on Social Security, who depend on the government for their survival, that the government is their enemy . . . We'll get there in 2012, if not the 2010 midterm elections!

Then, you see, we won't need to vote anymore.

Yes. Jesus was the temporary sacrifice to end all sacrifices. He accepted the torture and death for all humanity, giving the ultimate sacrifice of allowing Himself to be killed, knowing He could resurrect Himself at any time thereafter. He even paid a visit to Hell while He was temporarily deceased (or, as Picasso might call it, His "Blue Period").

Yes.

Jesus was sacrificed for the sins of the world. What do you think John 3:16 is about? Humans are so inherently evil we all deserve eternal torture for the crime of merely existing. However God is merciful and wanted to save at lest some of us. Obviously for humanity to be saved there has to be atonement to God for our crime of existing. The only possible price for that is God Himself. That's how evil humans are.

So God the creator of all and the uncreated, creates another God? The now-created second God then dies to bring salvation to mankind? The sinners created by God?
