Proverbs 21:23 "Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue Keepeth his soul from troubles."

Proverbs 12:18 "There is that speaketh like the piercings of a sword: But the tongue of the wise is health."

1 Peter 3:10 "For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:"

James 1:26 "If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man’s religion is vain."

Proverbs 18:21 "Death and life are in the power of the tongue: And they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof."

Beginning to get the picture? The Bible makes mention of the tongue for good reason, and my advice to you is to keep a civil one in your mouth when addressing your betters here, if you're hoping for anything more than dislodging a boot from your idolatrous rear when you get to Luciferville, buddy.

The ability to speak in tongues was limited to the first few apostles. Their "speaking in tongues" was the ability to be understand and be understood no matter what language they were speaking.
