God does talk about things other than himself you know. He gave us life so that we could both praise him and enjoy it at the same time.

It does if what you do to enjoy life is dress in wrong clothing or worshipping other gods not to mention fornicating or bearing false witness or so on and so on.

God wants you to do as you are told or burn forever, not to make up what God really meant if you want to do the opposite.

Let's look at this logically since I am sure we both will agree Christianity is a religion of Logic. After all that's why God gave us minds and wills of our owns; so we would chose to worship and love Him, rather than burn in Hell like so much trash.

Rap has a bunch of angry lyics punctuated by an aggressive beat. God doesn't not want our anger so that is off limits to Christians.

Rock uses 4/4 time, the beat of sensuality. God is not a pervert voyeur so again, not an option to Christians.

This is just like model railroading. Some forms of entertainment are not appropriate for Christians.
