The bible NEVER tells us when the earth was truly created, aside from a genealogy that is questionable as it brings up the question of 'did they have children through incest?' A person 300 years ago just up and decided that 4004 BC was when the earth was created. That is NOT in the bible, but you all seem to take it so literally that it could make you commit suicide.

But despite professing to follow scientific method in actual fact he's doing what all secularists do. He's approaching the evidence with a preconceived idea then discarding anything he sees that contradicts what he already believes to be true. Either that or creatively re-interpreting what's there if someone won't let him bury it because they've seen it too.

We know God exists. The Bible backs that up and explains everything so even a child can understand. If silly measurements made by scientists contradict that then it just shows how imperfect we are at fathoming God's works. Why must they twist reality and follow a conspiracy of lies? It's so hateful.

Fag, all means all. The inspired writer wanted to convey that Jesus was tempted by seeing kingdoms he didn't have, but the PROMISED LAND was of GOD! He had that! That wouldn't have been much of a temptation, now, would it?

I am not a True Scientist™ and this question has never been of great value for me personaly, but if Earth is 6000 or 7000 or even 8000 years old.

As far as pillars are concerned of course they might hold up any shaped object, square, round, egg-shaped, okapi shaped, tetrahedron

I suppose you could list every shape earth's pillars are not holding up but it would be a long list so we usually just say they're holding up the earth. There are also pillars of heaven and in this example God advises us that beams are incorporated into the structure.
