My name is Jack

I came to Christ from the teachings of my father, who preaches to me from the holy bible. I do my best to devote myself and though i sometimes wonder i am swiftly brought back into his light and embrace.

My favorite verse:

Genesis 22:2 And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.

I am not married and have no children, i live with my father who helps keep me in gods light. This is my first time using a forum of any sort.

A fine verse which lead to great things including total proof of God.

It always sets my heart racing to think of young Isaac preparing himself to go to Heaven knowing his dad is a fine God-fearing man then realising it falls to him to carry forward a great bloodline after all. He must have been so proud!

I was beaten by a group of youths though i do not know the reason why, perhaps a punishment for my own sin's.

It saddens me to say that i do not yet attend a church though my father gives me what guidance he can from the bible, we read and discuss our lords teachings daily and i commit myself to it. I am 20yrs old Sir, my father has not given me permission to take a wife yet and i do not question his decision. I do not wish to waste any of God's bandwidth Sir.

And of course Sir i will keep my tongue respectful, i came here to learn and to praise the lord not to insight debate and mockery.

Im an 20yrs old Sir, sadly i have not attended a bible camp retreat before, my father keeps a watchful eye over me and it is rare that i leave his company.

Ah, now this brings back some fond memories! You know a lot of today's city boys hardly even know how to pitch a tent!

But I'm off on a tangent; welcome, The Punished! Can't help but notice you've got a quote from the ESV in your signature file. Have you tried reading the 1611 King James Version? I'm sure you'll agree it's much better!

My father is an honorable god fearing man Sir, i do not think he would lead me down such a sinfull path, but you are right none the less, i should have been betrothed but i did not always walk in the light of the lord. My harlot of a mother and her heathen ways are to blame for such things, though when i think about it it was my failings as one of Gods children to not have seen the light.
