Faith or Science

Hello everyone,

I'm from europe and new to this Forum and still in a big controversy about the life.
Faith in God took a big part in my childhood but lost more importance from year to year. Maybe i was guided here to find my faith back but can someone tell me why i should dedicate my whole life to a book than rather believe into a logic scientific concept?

Welcome.
Very simple. God intentionally made it so easy to understand even a child of eight can grasp it.
First off, we do not dedicate our life to a 'book'. We dedicate our loves to God. God, in His infinite wisdom, provided us with some easy to follow rules in the Bible. In the Bible, He has His people explain EVERYTHING. It never waivers, no changes in 2,000 years!

Science is made of 'theories' which are nothing more than constantly changing guesses and every few years, a new guess comes out completely refiuting the previous 'theory'. I have no doubt next week the scientists will decide we all came from the 12th dimension out of the volcanoes of Uranus. Wasn't it last year they disposed of little Pluto? What next?

First of all, this is NOT a debate forum.

I didn't intend to start a debate. I was hoping that someone could lead me the right way.
I started to read the bible now and it is shocking! Science is searching for decades for the origin of earth coming up with different theories, when it is all explained in Genesis! They just had to read the Holy Word of our creator.

How many sons has God given you?

What sort of work do you do? I hope you are not a greek or a spaniel/portugalese.

I'm definitly none of this scum. I'm from Poland and blessed with one son. I'm still very young but beacuse i don't devote condoms i became a father. We are the most religious country in Europe so don't get me wrong. I do belive in the creator! My cousin is on his way to become a Pastor and i'm on my way to study theology.

God is supernatural. God's laws don't follow the laws of logic. They're simply to be obeyed or you'll suffer the consequences.

I was disappointed to learn that your country is 90% Roman Catholic. I can only imagine what life must be like for young boys in a country dominated by anal rapists. I pity you. I will pray for the rectums of your people.

It is unfortunate that you have generated a bastard child. For ten generations, his offspring may not enter into the Lord's congregation. That is a lot of souls that will go to Hell because of your irresponsibility.

God is fair, though. Even though it is your fault that your generations will burn in Hell for all eternity, and they cannot be saved, or even go to church, at least you can be forgiven this and saved. Then you can be happy knowing that, while your children burn in Hell, at least you are in Heaven. Lucky you.

All you have to do is be baptized, repent, and believe in Christ's temporary sacrifice. Then you can abandon those bastards to the netherparts of the cosmos. In fact, I am pleased to report, you do not even have to raise your son. You are in fact required to regard him with disdain, if you regard him at all:

Don't get me wrong my Brothers,

of course when i experienced that we are having a son i suggested the only possibility of marriage to save the soul of our child.
First my wife was for an abortion, so i showed her the right way by using some "gentle" force by slaping her in the face several times until she agreed to the marriage.

We are now going to register ourselfs in a baptist church to save our souls. My wife is still not sure about this but I will make her change her mind about this even if I have to use some force again. I hope you understand that it is only for her good, because i love her and our son.

Am I getting this right? You think that just because you hit on proper family values belatedly but from a secular angle you are worthy of praise? Why would an atheist hit his wife? For that matter why would an atheist get married?
