Well, to tell the truth, I don't really give a damn about a man that died 2000 years ago. I don't belive in "God" so that is irrelevant to me

I'm pretty sure "Cthulhu" is spelled the same in Swish. But I don't believe he wrote any book by that title.

Lovecraft's writing, while highly descriptive and evocative of atmosphere, lacks dramatic tension largely due to his poor choice of first-person, post-experience narrative style. It is difficult to be concerned about the fate of the lead character when that character is recounting a past experience . . . and obviously must have survived. He also says "Cyclopean" and "noisome" too often.

The Bible, on the other hand, is written in a third-person narrative style. When Noah and his sons build the ark, you don't know if they will finish it before the rains come! And when Jesus is crucified and dies, you have no idea if He will explode, or catch fire, or if the veil in the Temple will be rent in two, or if there will be an earthquake, or if the dead will rise from their graves and walk the earth. That's dramatic tension!

So the fact that this man still lives and you just trivialized the sacrifice He made for doesn't bother you?
