When in the bible does it mention that not being white is satanic? I am asking this because I have found much racism in this forum... And by all accounts... Jesus was from Nazareth, which mind you, is the largest city in the north district of Israel, which is predominantly populated by Arabians, it does, however not tell you what race he was of. Therefor no way you can say he was of any race, without being ignorant, or claiming you have the knowledge of God, which I believe to be a sin.

You mean the "peace-loving" buddhists who set schools on fire because non-buddhist children go there? The same "peace-loving" buddhists who are chasing non-"peace-loving" buddists out of their own countries? Is that the "peace-loving" buddhists you mean? So, the Truth(c) means nothing to you? *sigh* The Buddhists are much more peaceful that the Christians, who, by the way do much more of the same exact thing... Are they not the people who pushed the Native Americans out of their country? Are they not the people who killed 77 people on Utoya Island, Norway? Are they not the people who kill hundreds of Muslims daily in the supposed "war on terror"? And did the Ku Klux Klan not kill hundreds of people in the name of their bible? Your argument that this is in the name of the lord, or gods will is no different than a Muslim killing because "Allah" (who is the same god that the Christians worship) told them to, or these Buddhists who killed Muslims as a lash back against them for killing one of their own.
Exodus 21:24
eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot,
Leviticus 24:20

Deuteronomy 19:21
Show no pity: life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot.
Also, your ignorance must learn to comprehend the fact that I am not being angry, but am looking for answers. No, I am not a Muslim. No I am not a Buddhist. I am a student who wishes to know why things are how they are.

Again, you are confusing flattery with tolerance.Originally posted by Orwell View PostPerhaps some of you aren't mean, but you need to learn tolerance. And also understand, that I am a man who is trying to learn how you people think.
Is this an example of the tolerance with which you desire to be treated?Originally posted by Orwell View Post*sigh*
None of these were done in the name of Christianity. Just because a person calls himself a Christian doesn't mean he really is. I can call myself anything I want to, it doesn't mean it's true. For your information, you can tell a True Christian™ by their actions (Matthew 7:15-20).Originally posted by Orwell View PostThe Buddhists are much more peaceful that the Christians, who, by the way do much more of the same exact thing... Again, this is not my argument but yours, and a poor one at that.Originally posted by Orwell View PostYour argument that this is in the name of the lord, or gods will is no different than a Muslim killing because "Allah" (who is the same god that the Christians worship) told them to, or these Buddhists who killed Muslims as a lash back against them for killing one of their own.
To suggest God is the same as Allah is to suggest a rather dementia-ladened deity who can't recall if Jesus is His Son and part of the Triune Godhood, or not. Believe me when I tell you I know all my children, intimately. Not a single one causes me to wonder if he's my child or not.
Your point being? Here's a hint - before you answer that, read these verses in context.Originally posted by Orwell View PostExodus 21:24

Welcome, friend. In addition to telling us more about yourself instead of trying to rake us over the coals for things you know nothing about, it might be better to calmly ask questions instead of calling us bigots. There is no racism anywhere on this board.Originally posted by Orwell View PostWhen in the bible does it mention that not being white is satanic? The answer to your question is quite easy when we ask ourselves how Jesus could have been God and man. And if He chose to come as a man, why would He have picked a darkie skin to house His vessel? Jesus - God everlasting and the second member of the Godhead - would not choose a cursed vessel. As has been pointed out, the darkies were demoted to slavery long ago (Genesis 9:27). So the logical question is (God being God), why wouldn't He use His divine power to provide flesh for Himself fitting of His purpose?
But what does the Bible say of Jesus' appearance? It says He was white!
I. From Genesis to Revelation, Jesus was white:
Genesis 49:10-12: "10The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be. 11Binding his foal unto the vine, and his ass's colt unto the choice vine; he washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes: 12His eyes shall be red with wine, and his teeth white with milk."
Rev. 1:14: "His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire"
II. We also know from Isaiah 53 that He was not the most attractive:
Isaiah 53:1-2: "1Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed? 2For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him."
Conclusion
So, in other words, Jesus came as a lowly, unassuming white man. The conclusion is inescapable.
The answers are there, my friend. Just read God's Word and you too will have the peace that passes all understanding (Phil. 4:7-8).
Regards,
Pastor Ed

Listen, I was not declaring you bigots... I was saying that I have never read a verse in the bible that had anything to do with Jesus' race. Thank you for effectively answering half of my question, without being so rude. I think the entire community should learn from you.
However, I have another question, this description of Jesus' skin tone as described in revelation, the later chapter of the bible, where it isn't the same bodily being as it is by birth in the year 1 Anno Domini, correct? So isn't it only telling you what Jesus will look like in the future? I understand that it states his teeth will be white, but don't all men who take care of their teeth, have white teeth? (I am sorry if I offend)

Okay, I am first, thankful that you answered my question. But, I am afraid that I wasn't claiming him to be black, I was claiming that he could be a White (possible), an Arabian (likely), an Asian (unlikely), or a Black (again unlikely)
But out of respect of you I shall post no more on this topic.
