Welcome to the forum... where sometimes we feel generous enough to teach elementary grammar.

It's plain to see why you have difficulty grasping all of the concepts of the Bible if you're not quite sure what all of the words mean. I would recommend taking another crack at it when you're a little more learned with that of the language of man before trying to digest and speak on the Word of God.

      Re: Introduction

Yes, Bill, you are correct about derision, however, I had to put the concept in context for Zechariah (see his note above) who used such vocabulary as "jerkwad" and saying he WANTED his enemies to go to hell.

      Read Matthew 5:43-44
43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.

To Pim: Yes, you can call my visions false, in the sense that they were meant for me and not for others. They are real to me and false for you. It is explained as follows:

Luke 12:48 But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.

So I was being held up to a much higher standard than the average person, when I was judged by God.

Mary, your quotes from Acts and Matthew really support the diet of the gentiles, however they do not negate Genesis 1:29. God allows humans to eat whatever is available, even if all they have is eskimo food: blubber and flesh. However, when God places his child back into a garden with sunshine and fruit trees year round (as he did me), and giving his child the best vegetarian mentors (including John Robbins, ex-heir to Baskin Robbins), even Hebrew scholars to elaborate on bible translations, and giving his child an amazing herbal education, then He expects more.

I have a friend who was a conventional dairy farmer (used drugs on his animals) and slaughtered his own animals on his farm. He thought he was an upstanding Christian. He was about 50 years old and was suffering from diabetes, cancer, rheumatoid arthritis and already had had a few strokes. He was dying from a flesh eating bacterial infection. He prayed to God for a miracle because he had 5 kids and a wife who depended on him. He flatlined in the hospital from the infection and he had what Pim would call a false vision. Some would call it an out of body experience or a near death experience.

He was taken to a garden and there he saw Jesus and Ezekiel and other people from the bible and also Ghandi was there. They were having a picnic. He saw the tables full of vegetables and fruits, etc. HE saw both raw and cooked food, but he noticed there was no milk products or honey, two staples he raised on his farm (he was a conventional bee keeper) and of course, no meat. So he asked, "Where's the milk and honey?" They all looked at him and said, "We do not partake of those things here."

THe garden was beautiful and animals lived there peacefully, including the fish in the stream. A voice spoke to him, "Nothing need die, that you might live." IT also told him, "Don't ever take joy from my creatures again." He learned that it was not God's will for him to slaughter the animals on his farm in Utah (again we are not talking about ALaska here, where there is slim pickings for food). After that near death experience, he came back and became vegan immediately.

After that all his diseases went away. IT has been 20 years as a vegan and totally disease-free. He gave up his dairy-farm and honey business, in which he killed 30% of the bees annually by taking all of their honey away from them. He said the bad part of conventional dairy farms is that they cannot afford to raise the babies, so unless someone is willing to buy the baby calf, the farmer will kill the baby, either by digging a hole and burying it alive or using a bullet, if they are merciful. Compare that practice to times past, when a farmer shared the milk with the baby calf and let the mother cow raise her baby.

Check out Patrick, who as a vegan, broke the world record for carrying a 1200 pound yoke 10 meters. Good proof for Genesis 1:29

Then further proof of Genesis 1:30 is of a vegetarian lioness from Washington state, who was born as a vegetarian and lived for nine years. See her photos of her laying down with her favorite lamb:

If your visions were meant for you and you alone, why are you sharing them with us? What makes you think your visions take precedence over the Bible?

        It is explained as follows:

Luke 12:48 But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.
So we're going to get beaten with few stripes because we weren't lucky enough to have the same hallucinations you had? How is that fair?

So I was being held up to a much higher standard than the average person, when I was judged by God.
Conspiracy theorists and people of other religions love to think that they have secret information to which others are not privy. They think this makes them special. Not a very humble attitude for someone who professes to believe the Bible, is it?

Mat 5:5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

He was taken to a garden and there he saw Jesus and Ezekiel and other people from the bible and also Ghandi was there.
        Ghandi? In heaven? Ridiculous!

They were having a picnic. Your friend may have seen these things in his mind's eye when he was near death, but that doesn't mean any of it was real.

        Mere anecdotal evidence.
sigpicMt 21:42, 44 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes . . . ? And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

          Dear Frisbeewithyou,

Originally posted by Peacebewithyou View Post

Sweetie, it is the will of God that all nonbelievers go to hell:

Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

So it's not Zechariah's wish, it is what wants.

But we do that, honey! We pray for all of these unbelieving heathens until our knees hurt! And you all still refuse to accept the Word of , you ungrateful heathens!

To Pim: Yes, you can call my visions false, in the sense that they were meant for me and not for others. They are real to me and false for you. It is explained as follows:

Honey bee, this verse has nothing to do with visions. What says here, is that if you own a slave, and this slave did something wrong, he should be punished, even if he didn't know that he was doing something wrong. That's ' justice.

Mary, your quotes from Acts and Matthew really support the diet of the gentiles, however they do not negate Genesis 1:29. God allows humans to eat whatever is available, even if all they have is eskimo food: blubber and flesh. However, when God places his child back into a garden with sunshine and fruit trees year round (as he did me),
Um, do you live in the middle of the Amazon rainforest? Because that is the only place I'm aware of where you can have "fruit trees year round."

Also, wherever you have leaves, flowers and fruits, you also have plenty of insects available. Does your diet include locusts and larvae? I am told that some larvae have really high protein content!

          Bon appétit!

and giving his child the best vegetarian mentors (including John Robbins, ex-heir to Baskin Robbins),
Never heard of the guy, so he must be insignificant.

even Hebrew scholars to elaborate on bible translations,
I wouldn't trust the Jews if I were you.

and giving his child an amazing herbal education, then He expects more.
And you know that because....? (I'm waiting for an appropriate Bible verse).

I have a friend who was a conventional dairy farmer (used drugs on his animals) and slaughtered his own animals on his farm. He thought he was an upstanding Christian. Seriously? The guy has found a miracle cure for flesh eating bacteria? How come nobody in medical sciences is talking about that?

vegetarian lioness from Washington state, who was born as a vegetarian and lived for nine years.
That's quite short for a lion, sweetheart.
