  • True Christian™ Christmas music

So, what True Christian™ music is playing in your house on Christmas Day?

Here is one of my personal favourites, but hurry up before Obama's thought police arrests you for "racism" for wishing everyone a truly merry and Godly WHITE Christmas with lots of Paula Deen Christmas baking!

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
Just like the ones I used to know
    Where the tree tops glisten
    And children listen
To hear sleigh bells in the snow

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
With every Christmas card I write
May your days be merry and bright
    And may all
    Your Christmases be white

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
Just like the ones I used to know
    Where the tree tops glisten
    And children listen
To hear sleigh bells in the snow

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
With every Christmas card I write
May your days be merry and bright
    And may all your Christmases
    May all your Christmases
    May all your Christmases
May all your Christmases be white

    I'm dreaming of a white
    Christmas with you
    Jingle Bells
All the way, all the way

Well, a cathylick penned this one - choir master named Franz Xaver Gruber in Oberndorf, Austria in 1818. The original was written in four-part harmony for guitar (probably the first "guitar mass" for the cathylicks - but bears no resemblance to today's abominations).

Deanna Durbin was born into a Baptist family and Jesus called her home this year at the age of 91. Here is her rendition of Silent Night (Stille Nacht! Heilige Nacht!)

        Hell's foundations quiver at the shout of praise;
brothers, lift your voices, loud your anthems raise.
        ...and get off my lawn

I just taught my kids this adorable song, they are singing it all the time, it's so adorable!

(Of course I edited out the part about the soldiers in the version I printed out for the kids, since I found that too un-patriotic towards God's favourite country)

This has always been a favorite in the Snyde household:

            sigpic

            I Kings 7:23

And he made a moulten Sea, ten cubites from the one brim to the other: it was round all about, & his height was fiue cubits: and a line of thirtie cubites did compasse it round about.

New here? Desiring to be pleasing in the eyes of The Lord and His Followers?

Then do as directed by our esteemed Pastors and head on over to the Introductions subforum and make your first post there, friend. Tell us what church you go to and what your favorite Bible verse is and how you came to find Jesus. Anything else you want to share with us about how Jesus has blessed you is welcomed too.

Are you a hater of God that believes He is a morally bankrupt monster? Read Why, you ask, is God so angry? to see that it is in fact you that is the monster that mercilessly and infinitely torments God.

Stop this relentless torturing of God and accept Jesus today!

What a lovely song, Brother! I found especially inspiring the part where it says Santa is responsible for the economy failing. Of course - if people were buying stuff for gifts all the time, and not just waiting for Christmas, the economy would improve immediately!
