The events in the Bible actually happened, including the miracles. If we had been there, we would have seen and heard them. This includes Adam and Eve, Noah and the ark, Jonah and the whale, and Jesus. The Bible is not a collection of make-believe fairy tales, but God’s Word on historical facts.

You want proof because you don't have faith.

If you had proof, you'd have knowledge, not faith. God doesn't want us to have knowledge. See what happened in the Garden of Eden when Eve tried get knowledge by eating the fruit?

Genesis 3:6 "And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat."
