I know it is a religious forum and all but might I be permitted to ask about something totally unrelated? This is something I have always pondered and never had the oppotunity to find out about. But since we have a here somebody from Portugal, this would be an ideal chance to satisfy my curiosity.
Why is it then Filhos da Puta, that every single Portuguese women I have ever seen, has a beard and a slightly unpleasant odour of stale fish?

Sadly yes, there's a lot of incompetent people, but as much as any country.... and talking about mixed blood, not that I am racist, many friends of mine are dark colored, you in USA are more mixed than almost any country I can think of...
Talking about food culture, how can you prefer mcdonalds, which is a food that if you have enough I.Q. you know that is bad for you, there is plenty of good food if you knew where to look at, if you follow the tourist parts, as in any country, you only get the high price s**** food...
In a cultural way, you only got discovered, because Cristovo Colombo was following Vasco da Gama, when he was going to travel to brasil for the first time, and he got lost in the way, and end up in North America somehow... our culture began much further than you, we have a deep history, and you have like 400~500 years of history, in that time we had already went to India, China, discovered all coastal Africa, and other places....
there's no better country, because they all suck, we are not free, we are victims of capitalism, and it's destroying our beautiful world, with the oil wars, oil fever, it's only money money money, there is so much better things in the world than money, think people, i love meeting people, different people and not judge but accepting our deference's and trying to work it out, and the earth we live in is beautiful, full of nice things to see and feel.... instead of mocking and judging be better in helping the lesser, not making a mockery out of it...
