thank you very much. i really had a good time reading some of the pages here. i am also sure that what i have to say, others have said already.

i'm portuguese and a atheist. sadly, my skin is not brown, or i'm sure you people would be buying airplane tickets to come here and burn crosses in my garden, or something. and oh... how i would love to greet you all with a shotgun. but, since this is a somewhat civilized country and guns aren´t easy to get, i guess i would have to make do with a bit less refined welcome. more in line with you lot. inquisition style

anyway, i believe people are a product of their environment. my question is: from what environment are you people? i know the inhabitants of the usa are brainwashed everyday by the media, most of you are probably to numb and busy eating donuts, getting fat, and believing american is actually a language (1st post) to be bodered to think. so, you remain stupid, closed in your small confused brain, putting things in small boxes, and closing them so you won't have to think about it. it's easier to believe portuguese people are all you said, than actually thinking about it. if i were like you, i would say all northamericans who live below canada are stupid, lazy, ignorant shits who spend their days eating hamburguers and shooting each other. you know, the kind of dumb people that try to enforce creationism in schools (and how stupid is that?). of course, young people in the us don´t give a shit, because they are actually too busy themselves doing drugs, and joining gangs to get more drugs and guns so they can shoot people, to actually think about it too

but you know, i don´t think like that. people in the us are pretty much like people everywhere. just a bit fatter and uglier.

i do believe however, that the us is a terrorist state, that has done way more harm than good to the world, and is directly responsible for the death of millions of people worldwide.

i also believe you people (here) are a a sad bunch of religious fanatics, a bit worse than your muslim counterparts. at least they actually have something tangible to fight for.

the idea of god is one of the strongest beliefs in mankind. whatever form it takes as a religion. you may say i mock god, but if i don´t believe he exists, i´m not really mocking anything, right?

i understand the need to believe that some entity created all this. that fine. i also understand if some people choose not to believe in science, nevermind how wrong they may be. it´s your life, your choice. live with it.

what i don´t understand is how you people call yourselves christians (true ones!), and at the same time act exactly the opposite way he did (if he ever existed). being portuguese, i was educated to be a catholic, just because it´s the main thing here. if i was born in some other country, i would have had some other religion. then i started thinking for myself and parted with god. but i do remember the main lines of christianity very well. you people here have nothing to do with that. if you believe and live in christ, tell me: did he not present different ideas at the time? he is very well known for that.

That's your problem. Brain usage and Christianity just don't go good together (see I Cor 2:14). Maybe a lobotomy would help?
