Christians sent to jail for their beliefs in Australia!

Christianity is under attack today more then ever. Just read this sad story of brave Christian parents who are sent to prison for 14 years, while their Pastor for 13 years, and other community members for six to nine years.

And for what? Just for obeying God and the Holy Bible 100%.

The parents of an eight-year-old diabetic girl in Australia who died after they denied her insulin for almost a week have each been sentenced to 14 years in jail for manslaughter.

Elizabeth Struhs had in 2019 been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, and her family was told she would need daily insulin injections.

Her parents belonged to a religious sect known as The Saints, who opposed medical care, believing God would heal her.

She died from diabetic ketoacidosis, which causes a dangerous build-up of ketones - a type of acid - and blood sugar spikes at her home in Toowoomba west of Brisbane in January 2022.

They behaved the way they should have - this is exactly what Jesus tells us to do when someone in the congregation is sick:

James 5:14-16:
¹⁴ Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
¹⁵ And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
¹⁶ Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

If the girl died in the end, well, that's what Jesus wanted.

Of course, the atheist journalists paint a very negative picture of these pious Christians:

Due to a singular belief in the healing power of God… she was deprived of the one thing that would most definitely have kept her alive."

Elizabeth would have endured vomiting, extreme lethargy, and a loss of consciousness because she was denied medical care, prosecutor Caroline Marco said during the trial, which lasted several months and was heard by a judge sitting alone without a jury.

Prosecutors called 60 witnesses and painted a picture of an "intelligent" child who suffered greatly in her final days.

The community had a True Christian Faith:

The congregation, meanwhile, had prayed and sung for the girl as she laid on a mattress and her condition deteriorated.

Believing she could be brought back to life, the sect member made no effort to call a doctor, and authorities were not notified until 36 hours after her death, the court heard.

"Elizabeth is only sleeping, and I will see her again," her father Jason Struhs had earlier told the court.

Thank you, Sister Basilissa, for bringing a critical, if heartbreaking, story to our attention. Some people are convinced that we live today in an "enlightened" age where religious persecution does not exist, but clearly, this is wrong.

That is why we need President Trump to establish a state religion here in America, to protect Christians from suffering imprisonment or worse. Once Christians are finally safe and free to worship without fear for their lives in America, Trump and Pastor Zeke can turn their attention to backward places like Australia. It might take military intervention, but we must make the nations of the world secure for those who follow Jesus.

Oh, it's all just such a sad, old state of affairs, isn't it? It's gotten to the point where people are being persecuted more and more every day — and all for simply staying true to their faith in the Almighty. M't:5:10: Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
M't:5:11: Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
M't:5:12: Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

However, I think that our poor persecuted brethren and sistern did not read the next verse:

M't:10:23: But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.

"The Saints" sounds like another Mormon-like cult attempting to declare themselves "Saint" and going against the teachings of the True Church of Jesus Christ.

Sorry to post-and-run ... there seems to be a small internecine battle going on in the next room among the younger children, and I should probably intervene. But I for one don't believe in Australia, either! If they want to persecute me for that, then jolly good luck to them!

I'm with you, Sister Joanna. Does Australia really exist? I've been doing a little research on maps. Every wall map of the world I've seen has the United States right in the middle. It is the one key country that holds the world together. There are other countries added out on the edges, seemingly just to fill in the space. Maybe they are not even there.
