Houston picks conservative Annise Parker as mayor, first lesbian to head a major American city

The city of Houston, Texas appears to have elected its first gay mayor.

The new mayor is Annise Parker, currently the 53-year-old city controller.

In a light turnout and a relatively close runoff, she defeated local attorney Gene Locke with about 53% of the vote with not quite all ballots in.

Parker becomes the second woman to become mayor of Houston and the first lesbian to head a major American city. Houston is the fourth largest U.S. city.

Parker neither proclaimed nor sought to hide her sexual orientation and ran on a platform of firm fiscal conservatism and her long experience in urban financial matters.

Locke sought to distance himself from a last-minute anti-gay campaign that did not work.

Late Saturday night Parker appeared with her partner, Kathy Hubbard, at an election night rally and told supporters:

"I know what this means to many of us who thought we couldn't achieve higher office.

But let us at this moment join as one community. We are united in making Houston the city it should be, could be, can be and will be."

Parker succeeds Bill White, who is term-limited and is seeking the Texas governor's office next year. She will take office in early January.

How can it be a conservative and a queer at the same time? That's impossible! I suppose she'll claim to be a Christian now too.

We all know what the Bible says about females holding office! It's a sin!!

But what would one expect from a cesspool of sin like Houston, a city that threw Godly Tom DeLay under the bus, stabbed him in the back, and voted him off Dancing With The Stars? America weeps.

And that foul stench you smell, the putrid odor of a botulism-infected can of tuna that's been sitting in the sun for a week? That's the odor on the breath of the sinful woman the City of Houston has elected to spit in the face of Jesus!

This is all a result of the Temple of Darwin preverting our children. They teach man doesn't need to reproduce as God commanded, he can just evolve.

It really disappoints me that this Locke fellow attempted to "distance himself" from a last minute anti-gay ad.

He shouldn't be afraid to bash gays, I know I'm not. And God isn't either. (But God doesn't bash gays, he burns them!)

This Gene Locke character, he's a democrat it seems. That's why he's so wishy-washy about whether or not he hates the gays. A Republican hates gays 24/7, 365 days a year, and is proud to admit it. Democrats only hate gays when it's convenient it seems.

I blame this on the messican infilitration into our country.

The show up as pool boys and lawn maintenance crews and seduce the gentle flowers of Texas.

Once polluted by messican blood, all sorts of depravity follows.

The cure for this abomination, of course, would be to return the right to vote to men only, thus keeping those addled female minds away from the ballot box.

Here are some interesting statistics:

A little more than 152,000 residents turned out to cast ballots in the city, which has a population of 2.2 million. Of those voters, 81,743 chose Parker -- some 11,000 more than voted for Locke. About 60,000 residents identify themselves as gay or lesbian.

That's only 7% of the population of Houston (not necessarily the percentage of eligible voters), but the winning mayor only needed the votes of a few fags and some of their liberal friends to win. Even the candidate who lost, possibly Houston's second ever black mayor, couldn't even get a few of her black friends out to vote. This proves that the Republicans shouldn't be banking on the black vote when making their war plans for the 2012 election. (Sad to say it, but the gay vote is more reliable, although they predominantly vote democrat.)

5. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 God condemns all homosexual behavior. It also points out that homos will go to hell unless they are saved, at which time they become heterosexuals.

7. Jude 1:7 God condemns all homosexual behavior. It also points out that homos will go to hell.

9. Genesis 2:18 says God created humans for marriage and that he intends that to be one man married to one wife.

11. Genesis 9:20-29 is where Ham sees his father's (Noah's) tallywhacker and instead of covering it up or gouging his eyes out, he runs to tell his brothers. When Noah awakes, he curses all of Ham's descendants. (This is why the blacks are black to this day, by the way. They are all "Cursed Children of Ham. Don't believe me, I just gave you the scripture, go read it!)
12. Deuteronomy 23:17 calls for exile of homosexuals from Israel.
13. 1 Kings 14:24, 15:12 & 22:46 calls for exile of homosexuals from Israel.
14. 2 Kings 23:7 calls for exile of homosexuals from Israel.
15. Judges 19:14-29 God condemns homosexual behavior
16. Matthew 19:4-5 God approves of marriage only between one man and one women.
17. Matthew 19:10-12 is where God gives only some Christian the ability to remain single. In describing who can remain single, Jesus talks about 3 types of eunuchs:
    1. those born with malformed testicles
    2. those surgically castrated
    3. those who "have made themselves eunuchs." (Ouch!)
    
    

Go and look them all up. They are all there and I probably missed a few since I haven't completed my Theocentric Sexuality course yet.
