Time for Norway to face up to it

Their nanny state brand of socialism has failed. It's time for Norway to learn from a system that actually works, i.e. the greatest system in the world .

Today's Lesson for Norway: Restrictive gun laws DO NOT WORK at all. Imagine if every man, woman and child were carrying a standard Norwegian issue rifle (HK416 5.56 mm)? Norway would be free of terrorists (Muslims) instead of mourning their losses today. Mass killings are unheard of when the citizens are properly armed.

I've read in the news that the gunman was an organic farmer.
Its not the first time that herbs cost lives.

But i think we should wait before we judge him. Maybe he has scripture to back up his doings.

Matt 5:17-20 "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven:..."

The big picture is this: Norway is a Godless country ruled by atheists.

We can only conclude, regardless of who is tried and convicted, this was a message from God.
Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

Re: Time for Norway to face up to it

I think we were all shocked at the loss of life at the Utoya shooting and Oslo bombing in Norway, it is sometimes hard to imagine why God would cause such a catastrophic event to occur, but with prayer and Bible study we can all understand His Reasoning.

First and foremost I wish to comfort the grieving parents and loved ones of the deceased, I understand if you immediately think of annihilation of Sodom and the unrepentant homosexuals there or perhaps of the deaths of the 50070 men of Bethshemesh because they had looked into the Ark of the Covenant, but God doesn't just kill for bad transgressions or sin of the worst kind, no, it may well be possible the victims aren't the worst sinners of Norway, instead your children may well be examples for us all, please look at Luke 13:4-5
Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem? I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

Are you not consoled knowing that your child was probably no worse a sinner than any other non-True Christian™? Does it not ease your suffering, knowing that the death of your child was not for nothing, but a warning for all others? Unless Norwegians repent Jesus will make sure they'll all die an equally horrific death. (Please don't consider this a threat, it is more a choice, either accept Him or suffer the consequences).

My next point is about assigning guilt for this terroristic attack, many people will be quick to blame the terrorist, and they are right, if the perpetrator had been Christian he would not have murdered innocent people. Others may incriminate God, as Amos 3:6 points out:
Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
And they too are right, God does create evil, but only to punish or test us, never in malice, but always with our best interests at forefront of His heart. Which brings me to the last people who are to be blamed: the victims! After all you can't have a terror attack without both terrorists and victims. We have already read Luke 13:5, where Jesus explains that those who repent will be safe from perishing in disasters, but also Proverbs 19:23 tells us:
The fear of the LORD tendeth to life: and he that hath it shall abide satisfied; he shall not be visited with evil.

I will close with Psalm 91, may it provide you with the knowledge to be safe in the future, even when tens of thousands die around you, you can be safe, and so you can your loved ones be. Just do as Jesus implores you to do: REPENT!
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

                    Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.

Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.

                    Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;

There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.

Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.

With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.
                    Leviticus 26:15-16
And if ye shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments, so that ye will not do all my commandments, but that ye break my covenant: I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.

First of all, if God commanded it, by definition it can't be terrorism.

(Psalms 33:4) "For the word of the LORD is right; and all his works are done in truth."

Secondly, 9/11 was basically a strike by sand nigras against joos, so it's a wash. They both REALLY need to read Galatians:

(Galatians 5:15) "But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another."
