At first it should be the family heads job to fight a fire himself. If he doesn't succeed, there's nothing wrong with professional firefighting, but of course it should be in private hands. If your house is old and needs repair, you hire a craftsman to fix it. If your house is on fire and the fire needs to get extinguished, you should hire a private fire brigade to do the job. If you need big government to save YOUR house, you shouldn't have one in the first place

There's a test you have to take before becoming a fireman. It used to be that if you got at least a 60 (a D- verging on F), you would pass the test, but it turned out not many blacks were able to do that. They played the Ghetto Lotto and sued the fire department—and they won. Now these black losers can be fireman without knowing even half of what you need to know to put out fires. And guess what? They could be coming to YOUR house today.

You know, if blacks put as much effort into actually working as they put into suing and scamming, they might not be the laughingstock of humanity. I think it is SICK that we have to pay taxes to support the fire department, EVEN IF WE DON'T WANT IT. More government interference in our lives.

If I want the fire department, I will hire somebody. If you are too poor to hire somebody, then WHY DON'T YOU GET A DESCENT JOB AND STOP BEING A LAZY (minority, probably) MOOCHER and get enough money to PAY for your OWN FIRE PROTECTION.

Not to mention that fires can be good, especially as part of clean up efforts. Understaffed and underequipped firefighters in Detroit are called to 150-200 structure fires every year (source). Wouldn't it be better to allow Detroit just burn to the ground, and then start all over?

Wow, I almost fell out of my chair when I saw this photo. I bet you didn't know that my company actually owned the mortgage on that house back in 2006! At that time it was valued by our appraisers at $8 million and used as collateral for loan that we leveraged 100 times into a mortgage-backed security, and sold as a rock-solid investment to the Michigan Teachers' Union Retirement Fund for $800 million.

Too bad for the union thugs that they didn't unload that sucker bet onto a third world country (like my company did) before the market collapsed in September, 2008. Currently, the house is appraised at $800, which is the estimated price of the landfill you could get if you dug up the yard (10 feet down) and sold it. All the other good stuff like the copper wiring and plumbing was long ago removed, so there's no recoverable value there.

Well, since the Teachers' Union owns it, maybe they could use the building as a new school. It already looks like most of the schools in Detroit. The only thing is that the union first has to pay off the owed property tax, which is still being evaluated at $8 million. My company, by the way, is in charge of tax collection due to a privatization scheme operated by our vulture fund subsidiary.
