Yup, that video really underlines how things are. Atheists have lost, and there isn't much more to it. We are right, they are wrong. How can Atheist even start to be correct if they don't even consider the Lord in thier arguments?

This will push some buttons, but as a former atheist, I feel the need to say that you're all wasting your time "spreading the gospel" in this way. Self-righteous, arrogant declarations of "victory" (implying that religion and God are some kind of warzone), frankly homophobic attitudes that don't come across as inspired by Faith...these approaches, among others, accomplish nothing other than making atheists lose respect for you (I speak from experience). "The Bible is the word of God" isn't self-evident to them as it is to you. "Accept Jesus or you will go to Hell" means no more to them than if I told you, "Be good this year or you'll get no presents from Santa." If you actually want to help these people, try to understand their viewpoint. What you're doing now just drives them further away (in this, I also speak from experience; my shift from atheism was not because of, but IN SPITE OF believers trying to "show me the way").

You misunderstand. I have no problem telling people what they don't want to hear; I aim to tell them what they NEED to hear, whether or not they want to hear it. The point I'm making is that there are many things an individual could tell an atheist: a typical Christian, for example, has many things they believe to be true that they could say to sway the atheist. One such thing they could say is that the atheist will go to Hell. However, as stated, this has literally no effect. Therefore if the Christian wants to help the atheist, they must change their approach. They are plenty of other things they believe to be true that they could say instead, that might help the atheist where the threat of Hell did not.

I used to be an atheist, and though my beliefs have changed, I am the same person I was before, and...

• I am not gay, and do not have gay sex.
• My facial hair grows quickly, but the closest I've ever had to a beard is stubble, when I was too lazy to shave every day.
• I'll admit that I have watched porn in the past, when I was younger and didn't really understand the whole sex thing.
• For quite a long time, I did not believe in God, much less KNOW he existed.

* This one just doesn't make sense. It is also impossible to prove that the tooth fairy doesn't exist. Everybody is aware of the flaw in this kind of logic, not just atheists.

How is this destructive if it's effective? Do you know how many people come here, thinking they can "troll" us, read the actual Word of God, and become Saved?

Friend, obviously being indirect and gentle does not work with you. A firmer approach is called for.

Thanks for your advice. So, in your esteemed opinion, the best way to get people to believe in God the right way is to tell them lies, to act like a used car salesman, to lure them in with a soft and fluffy version of Jesus that's basically a trick.
