I don't treat it as fact. Wein's displacement law doesn't contradict any scripture, and it is confirmed by observation, so I treat it as a usable theory.

If you are aware of scriptural or empirical evidence that casts doubt on the reliability of Wein's displacement law, then I would be much obliged if you were to share it.

Exactly. Sometimes you get idiots who say "there are no cars in the Bible, so cars don't exist." Nobody here has ever claimed that only things in the Bible can exist. Sometimes things come later which prove the Bible (or at least don't contradict it) and we can use those things in understanding the world.

There are a couple of things you don't understand about heat and light energy. First of all we can start off by saying that the sun puts out more than just wave lengths that produce yellow light. Including a wide range of wavelengths not visible to the human eye. Including X-rays, Ultra-Violet rays, Microwaves, and Gamma Rays. Microwaves are actually the wave form that heats the planet the most. Microwaves act as a type of Thermal Radiation, or heat energy. The interesting thing is that microwaves have lower frequency which allows them to move over much greater distances and still have a lot of remaining energy. Hince why the sun can heat the earth from millions of miles away.

Due to the fact that these waves can't penetrate the earths atmosphere most of these wave bounce off the atmosphere. How ever this constant barrage of energy excites molecules in the air. This transformed energy gives off heat. Particles in the air transfer this energy through conduction which is then moved by process of Convection or moving Air. This is how the earth is warmed.

Microwave ovens cook my bouncing Microwaves through matter. It heats up the food because microwave can not easily pass through water molecules. This causes a lot of friction which gives off heat energy. Microwaves coming from the sun do something to the climate on earth however. As previously mentioned they cause friction with water. 'Waves' - Seriously. If there were all these waves like you say, everything would be rippled. People would have a hard time walking. The ground would be rolling. 'Waves' - you God haters are so gullible!


By the way, the heat from the Sun comes from burning coal as clearly described in the KJV Bible. Not 'Radiation'. Radiation will kill you, ask the slants on Hirsupershami or Nagasaki.

Sounds like the kind of gibberish the liberals keep telling us, invisible forces controlling our lives and such, global warming, death of the planet, blah, blah.

Faintly bordering on Satanism and witchcraft to be honest, the OP clearly showed how the Sun could be around miles away, no one has yet defined a sensible answer to this as far as I can see.
