Now, why don't you mosey on to the introduction thread and properly introduce yourself.

I have indeed read the bible but unfortunately it dosent seem to answer the thoughts that plague my mind. When the sun rises to its highest point in the sky, perpendicular to the center of our flat earth, why is not the entire world illuminated?

For example if you were to take a flat round table and have a light bulb travel up above and around the table, as you raise the lightbulb from the 'eastern' part of the table the west will still be dark of course, but once you reach the height of the lightbulbs rotation around the table, the entire table will be illuminated. Why does this not apply with our own flat Earth?

It shames me to admit, but when I was an ignorant child I did wish to be an astronaut, as that type of career was prevalent in my upbringing. I attended shuttle launches and landings. It was only later in life, through god, that I was able to denounce these events as false...however still, certain thoughts manage to persist in my mind and i wish to rid myself of them

if we simply go by the diagram you provided, it would mean only a small area is lit at a time, while neighbors to our north and south would be in dark. We do know that people from the eastern shores of Canada and the Eastern shores of South America, or people from Sweden to South Africa experience daylight at the same time. In other words, our wonderful lord has created the sun in a way that it can illuminate our flat world from the very north all the way to the southern tips at the same moment. This we know is true for if I were to be in say, Quebec during the day time, and make a phone call (or watch a live feed) of someone in southern Argentina, they are also experiencing daytime.

So if God's gracious creation (the sun) can clearly light the world from the very north to the very south, why then, is the entire world not illuminated when the sun is at its highest position on our wonderfully flat world

Brothers and sisters please understand I am not here to mock our wonderful father in heaven or any of you...I am simply trying to battle my own demons. Everyone is deserving of salvation, and I try to better myself one day at a time so that I may truly experience the glory of god and all the wonderful experiences that follow. I do believe I am very close to attaining this level. Im just a few short steps away, and with the help of the righteous men and woman of this site, and Jesus Christ, I know i shall overcome all.

dear brother, even the picture in your signature shows the flat world completely illuminated by the sun, yet this is obviously not the case, and not in God's divine plan as evidenced by our day to day lives. You are contradicting gods great work by promoting such fictitious propaganda which may only facilitate in adding confusion to those that wish to stand proudly within the Baptist ranks. Should you continue to post a picture that goes against the works of our lord in every single way, then you are no better then those that deserve damnation.

I understand the point you are trying to convey with the picture, and you must realize I am on the same page as you in that I too believe the earth is flat. The picture you are using to convey this message however will only add fuel to the fire as it contradicts your our own argument but also the fine work of our lord. As a devoted man of god, you should be ashamed at the fact that you are discrediting the work of our Father (in that picture) with every post you make.

However I do believe in my heart you too are worthy of salvation as are all the children of God, and he will forgive you should you repent your blasphemous actions. Doing something with the proper intentions, I realize isnt always enough if in doing so you are challenging God's divine plan.

Let us both pray on our actions and repent, so that we may be better followers of our dear Lord.

Jesus Christ is the example all of us should live by as he was the best any human could hope to be. Patience and tolerance and forgiveness are all exemplary virtues that Jesus Christ lived with and I think those are also virtues that we on this message board should strive for as well. All to quickly do many on here resort to name calling, angered responses, a quickly dwindling patience and arrogance to fellow posters. How can you expect those people to stop looking at pictures when those that "know what they are doing" are constantly putting on display these blasphemous pictures for all to see. For those already saved, no damage can be done...but for the countless souls that have the potential to reside with the lord for eternity in Heaven, a picture like this only gives them a stepping stone to further their own propaganda. If nothing else, simply editing the picture to follow the Lord's divine plan would surely be a major step in the right direction.

When I first arrived on this wonderful message board and stumbled upon this enlightening thread, I was ready to have the righteous opinions of the true followers on this website to help guide me further into the Lord's embrace, however seeing your picture over and over again only worked to undermine that.

dear brother, you still do not grasp the simple concept that you are facilitating blasphemous behavior. Who are you, a mere mortal, to try and recreate the lords divine plan? Whats more, you do so in a false and contradictory method then he our father originally intended.

It would be no different then me having a picture showing Moses descending Mt. Senai with 20 commandments. That would be blasphemous and contradictory to what we, as Christians, know to be true.

These false scientists use pictures to of the earth as a sphere to dissuade us from the truth. We as true Christians know the earth to be flat, and we as true Christians also know the lord does not illuminate the entirety of the world at any one time with the sun. However, much like the pictures scientists use to further us from salvation, your completely inaccurate picture falsely depicting our world is doing the exact same thing...its furthering the scientists agenda.

Now I understand that the answer lies in the Bible and it is something we must all be acquainted with, but you yourself are twisting the divine logic by proudly displaying a picture no better suited for false prophets and evil scientists. Let us pray together.

Also, are you supporting Redeemed Papist's unholy imagery of the portrayal of our world? We know the earth is flat, fact...We also know the lord does not illuminate the entirety of it at once, fact.

While I love both of you as righteous Christians I deeply hope that you will one day repent and see the light before it is too late. May the Lord and ONLY his divine plans be with you always...Not those of a pretender wishing to further the convictions and arguments of scientists.

Tonight I will be attending a seminar on bible study and the topic of discussion is the flat world. I am so excited to be able to speak with individuals like yourselves in person, however they will be much more receptive in helping to bring a person into the ranks of the righteous and not feel so threatened by them with an overwhelming need to scare them off instead of rehabilitating them.
