No, it points to a God which knew that at the time the Bible was written, the people couldn't comprehend that the earth was round, so when he described the earth, he described it being flat. Which brings us back to our original argument: whether the earth is flat or not. As I have mentioned before, there have been millions of experiments carried out the proves that the earth is round. Saying that they all faked their results to discredit the Bible is ridiculous.

So because it is false, it must be a metaphor for something else? By this rationale, any sort of lie could be interpreted as true.

That's why we don't interpret the bible (KJV1611). We take it literally; without extraneous embellishment. The truth(tm) is never garnished, tarnished or varnished with the venal veneer of contempory conformation to this modern so called 'PC' world.

You are correct, no entire part of the Bible has been proven false. However, many interpretations of it, such as a few mentioning of "four corners of the earth" and "the ends of the earth" meaning that the earth is flat, have been proven false.

Where have I ever said that He told a lie? All I have said is that He might have made a metaphor to the earth being flat because people couldn't understand that the earth was round.

Those are "entire parts" of the Bible, and they have not been proven false.

Revelation 7:1:
And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.

Notice that "four corners" thing? Guess how many corners a circle has? NOT four. Therefore, according to the Bible, the earth is a flat square. However, Isaiah 40:22 says that the earth is a circle.
