I don't really want to indulge myself in a piece of fiction that is plagued with inconsistencies and contradictory information, oh and anyone who has done basic RE has read a decent amount of the bible so don't jump to conclusions about what i have and haven't read.

I don't want you to read "a decent amount of the Bible", I want you to read the whole thing. You know, actually educate yourself as to to what is really in there. Instead of making ignorant assumptions about "inconsistencies and contradictory information", find out for yourself. Give it two hours a day, and you'll be done in a month. Something allowed your brain to happen, it seems ingrateful not to use it.

The problem with throwing quotes at me is that the bible is full of contradictory stories and "facts" so i find it hard to find truth in a lot of quotes that get thrown at me when it could have been another mistranslation.

the thing is, like most angry kids, you think you're being incredibly original ranting at us because you've visited the Skeptics Annotated Bible or Venganza.org or some such and had a revelatory moment.
