No, God would have given us the Bible and brought us into the modern era. The Ten Commandments are responsible for civilization, and God gave us the Ten Commandments.

Well civilization existed before the existence of the bible. Even in the bible it says the Moses received the Ten Commandments after saving his people from Egypt. Egpytian civilization was very advanced at the time. Although I agree that the Bible was important in developing a very basic sense of morality. However, it did so by scaring people that they will go to hell, a very scary thought to some.

What are you talking about? The Ancient Egyptians were nowhere near as advanced as any Christian civilization. Even Lutheran countries like Sweden are more advanced than Ancient Egypt.

I was not attempting to debunk god just trying to point out the obvious that it was humans who developed computer science not god. Although I understand the belief that god helped develop it by some sort of "devine inspiration". My main point really was that just because something is not in the Bible doesn't mean there is no explanation for it or it is Satan's work. For those that believe that I am a "christian hater", I am not. Many of my relatives are devout Christian Methodists and I have absolutely not problem with them. My grandfather was a priest as well .

It is pretty clear even in the bible that civilization existed before the ten commandments and that Egypt had a fairly advanced culture. There were no Christian countries until after 500 A.D.
