I am sorry but I cannot comprehend how people in the 21st century can still believe that the Earth is flat. Have you people never been on a plane? In Australia everyone knows of Jessica Who recently sailed AROUND the world, after heading south from Sydney she began a journey travelling only west. and she ended up back at sydney. How does the science of a flat earth make her able to do this?

As for the experiments and the people who are going to use them for home schooling, you really need to do some more thorough research. I will respect that God may be a great force, however, he is surely is control of all things and Newtons laws of Physics, and Einsteins theories are just proof that a greater being has to be in control so that the Earth doesn’t just collapse on itself.
The first experiment about jumping is true, if we jump we land in the same spot that we left from. If however we were to be standing inside the carriage of a moving train and we were to jump would we not also land in the same spot on the trains floor? not at the front of the carriage. Or if we are travelling in a car and we throw a ball up the ball comes straight down into our hand again. This is much like the spherical earth spinning, while the earth spins at an extremely fast rate, we to, and all matter (gasses and the like) are all travelling at this speed, so when we jump we land in the same spot this is called inertia.
Unfortunately due to ignorance of some people in this forum I will not attempt to answer the gravity question because I am not going to waste my time writing an explanation only to be subject to irrational and narrow minded ridicule.
As for the Horizon experiment though, you need to spend some time on the coast. Come to Wollongong near Sydney and you will see scores of ships come and go every day. If you take a good vantage point you can see the ships go all the way out beyond the Horizon, when they disappear through they don’t simply fade away into the distance like they would if the Earth was flat, however it appears they sink below the surface as they move across the face of our spherical Earth.

What really happens is that the earth rotates around the sun, and it’s off centre axis causes different parts of the earth to be further or closer to the sun depending on their position in the orbit - thus making the northern and southern hemisphere cooler.
Also in saying this I would like to get a flat Earth explanation of the tides rising and falling-keeping in mind that you are not allowed to use gravity in your explanation.
And an explanation of lunar eclipses would also be interesting.

The fact of the matter is that the Bible was written a long time ago and it is a good book and we can take many moral, and for some a way of life from it, but unfortunately it didnt have the technology to make it a factual book about the earth and some of the explanations of it. There were no planes, no satellites, no iPhones. Imagine if the bible was able to be written today and all the prophets that God spoke to were able to sit and type away on a blog and instantly update it into the bible, 2000 years from now that might seem like an outdated way of doing things, and 2000 years from now there will be even more scientific laws/theories that christians and non christians will be arguing about.

I will leave you with one thought though... at the start of the universe, if the expansion of the first atom took place (big bang if you will) at a variation of 0.0000000000000001 of the speed that it expanded at, the universe as we know it would not exist, Surely there had to be some greater being at work here making it possible for all the variables to be correct so we can enjoy the internet today.

Apparently, you did not read the WHOLE forum. All of these false-science explainations, that you have stole from your favorite sickular scientist, have already been covered. I apologise, I did not realise it was a requirement of this forum to be irrational and rude.

2D geometry is easy. I understand that you can travel in a circular path on an flat plane. I just did it in my lounge room to check.... scientifically, however I must have forgotten to take into account the satan variable, because to return to my original point my compass said I had to head in a northerly direction before heading toward the west, then southish then returning to the east. This circular plane nonsense does not justify how you can travel west to end up at a final location which is for all intents and purposes east of your current location. Psalm 103:12 "As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.” By saying that the Earth is flat you are putting a measurable distance on this. east is the furthest point on one side of the flat plane and west is the other. If however the Earth is spherical east and west will never be able to be measured as there is no end point. There will always be more west, or more east - even if you get to the same point that you started from

Surely the idea that a satellite orbiting the Earth even making this forum possible makes you cringe.

As to the other replies there were no mention about the other questions i posed in earlier posts. All I know is I was polite and gave credit to God for his wonderful creation and you refuse to be polite in return.

If the bible is the only true thing that is correct then please stop using all the technology we enjoy today that rely on a spherical earth for them to be possible. Throw away mobile phones, computers, GPS’s, never believe the weather that is reported on the news again and please, never fly. There was never any biblical evidence of these things therefore they cannot exist! (as per earlier arguments).
