I have a question...

If it is true that the earth is flat, then how do time zones work? (This is purely curiosity and not in anyway spite towards the evidence you have put forward)

We know the Earth is flat because the Bible tells us so. But for those of you skeptical, close-minded types that flat out refuse to accept the overwhelming Biblical evidence, I have designed some experiments you can do at home that will show you, before your very eyes, that the world is indeed flat, and not spherical as some crazy scientists proclaim. It's amazing how many people blindly believe in a spherical Earth, without ever having seen it for themselves! I intend to change that.


1) Jump!
Now, scientists claim that Earth is spherical and rotating at a speed of between 700-1000 miles per hour, depending on your latitude. This is a very high rate of speed. You can disprove this nonsense by simply jumping up as high as you can. Really, it's that simple. What happens when you jump? You come straight down to where you were. But, if the Earth were indeed spinning at such a fast speed, wouldn't you land hundreds of feet away?

If you were to stand in the flat bed of a truck going 75 mph, and jump straight up, what would happen? You wouldn't fall straight down. You would fall out of the truck. That's because trucks move, the Earth doesn't. This experiment proves the Earth is fixed in space and doesn't move.



2) Blow!
Since if the Earth is supposedly a sphere, it naturally comes to assume what would happen to people below the equator, like in Australia? Since they are underneath the sphere, wouldn't they fall off? This is where scientists come up with mumbo-jumbo like "gravity" and "centrifugal force" to explain away their theories. So, the scientists want you to think that because the earth is so much more massive than people or things, that people will naturally "stick" to the bottom of the earth because of gravity.

This can be disproved very simply. Get a balloon and inflate it as big as possible. It will be a spherical shape. Now, take a piece of paper and try to rip, tear, or cut the tiniest speck of paper possible. This paper represents a human being, much smaller in mass to the balloon, which represents the Earth. Now try and place the small piece of paper to the underside of the balloon. What happens? It falls off!

That's right. Even though the balloon is so much bigger in mass, it cannot hold the tiny paper. So if the Earth was a sphere, no one could live below the equator because they would fall off.


3) Get High!
Ok, this one you really can't do at home, but you can do it out in the world. Stand on the ground and look around you. What's the farthest you can see? Maybe it's a building, tree, or mountain. Now, find some place very close to it where you can get a much higher vantage point. (This also works if you're on a jet and about to take off.) Notice how in the higher place you can see much farther? You can see more of the world the higher you get. This shows the world is flat because the higher you go, the easier it is to see over obstacles. At the same time, it shows the world cannot be spherical. Because if the world was curved, the far distance would forever remain out of view because of the Earth's curvature. It would eternally be over the horizon.

If the Earth was a sphere, it would not matter how high you went, you would still see the same thing. Since this is not the case, the Earth is flat.


These experiments are all confirmed by creation scientists as being 100% accurate. If you're skeptical of the flat Earth, why don't you do these experiments so you can see truth with your own eyes.

First of all... The 1st test

Yes... We do say that the earth rotates at about 1000 miles an hour... So why don't you go flying away with a single jump?

Well... This can easily be debunked

If you have ever been on a long boring road trip (or maybe you people are so uptight as to never have fun) you might have something like a ball or something that you throw up into the air and then catch as it comes back to you... Well obviously that doesn't prove anything right?

Well the thing is... If what you say is true and if the earth was round and spinning at over 1000 miles an hour... Then why does the ball in your car not fly at a speed of 60mph back and hit your back window?

That's because there is a thing called inertia... A object in motion stays in motion and an object at rest will stay at rest unless acted upon by an outside force. So the reason why you don't go flying hundreds of miles away is because you are already in motion!

The second test with the ballon is also easily debunked... The ballon is obviously much bigger than the tiny sheet of paper so obviously it has more mass! So why doesn't it pull towards the ballon like the earth and people? The thing is... The ballon is mostly air, correct? That's how balloons work...

Air does not contain much mass... Air is not very dense at all (density is the amount of matter in a certain volume, which is the size of the object)

Thus... The balloon probably has just as much mass as the paper. And does not have much of a pull on the object... Plus the gravity of the earth pulling on the paper is much greater than that of the balloons. So rather than being pulled to the balloon it is pulled to the earth. The reason why helium balloons float is because the density of helium is way less than the density of the air around you... So it is pushed up into the atmosphere.

If you were to test this theory in a vaccuum chamber similar to that of space, you would find that an object of larger mass would pull one of smaller mass towards it.

And for the very last experiment, I can debunk it with the experiment itself

Why can't you see tall structures like the eiffle tower and the Empire State Building from where you stand

Surely if you had great enough vision to see that far and clearly you would see it

But you cannot
For the earth is round

That is why we have time zones, and seasons, and the reason why day and night exist

That's why the sun sets and rises... And that's why Australians don't fall of the earth into space



If anyone can debunk my proof with hardcore evidence that can not be countered and do not use scripture of the bible

I do think you would have the time but you don't dare. It might shake you, make you think, astonish you.

You love the Truth™ you say? This is a reasonable startpoint. I'll make this simple, a short summary of the things we know.

We know that sinners (you are among them) cannot trust their senses. Even neuroscientists agree, human perception is very unreliable. Due to this, we cannot trust our instruments, either. The neuroscientists ask why but WE can answer. In fact, Jesus gives you the answer!

God sends the sinners delusions, sensory input that is false, that is untrue, and sinners believe it. They are sincere when they 'see' the round Earth, the 'benefits' of sodomy, the 'fossils' making humans lowly beasts. These things are delusions. God has noticed their failure to believe and He gives these sorry sinners more delusions.

We can avoid that. We have to turn the causality of observation-conclusion around! You have to START by accepting the Truth™, including the 6-day Creation, the Firmament over the flat expanse of the Earth (this does not exclude mountains), the immutability of Created Kinds that you might call 'species'. Then you fit the observations to the FACTS that you know to be True™. Where are these facts? In the BIBLE, for God's sake.



There you have it. Accept the Truth™ first, then make the conclusions about observations based on what you know. That is in a nutshell the methodology of Creation Science and it had given us magnificent applications including prayer healing and baraminology that benefit the whole mankind in unprecedented ways!

496 pages is a lot less pages than the Bible (the KJV these people have read) has. Mine is 1749 pages long I got to page 114 but then I got distracted by a Dan Brown novel. If you have trouble reading a lot of pages I would like to suggest starting with Douglas Adams: When you start to read his work, 496 pages will just be an appetizer.

I find it ridiculous that people still believe in a round earth!

Recently I have been flying from the Godly US to the ungodly Europe, and the plane happened to fly over land know as Greenland (even though it's covered in ice all of the year - go figure, it was named by heathen pagan "vikings", who were too dumb to see the difference between "white" and "green").

I took a picture through the window of the plane. Some people make the claim that you can see the "curvature" of the earth from a plane. As you can see, the horizon is perfectly flat (I drew the red line to make it clearer):

As WW pointed out, phrenology is a discredited pseudoscience. It's about as legitimate as homeopathy in the scientific world.

Back to the topic of the thread, the flat earth theory only proves that the bible was reflective of the level of understanding at the time, which is far below that which we have now. That's where those ways of thinking belong - in the past.

I am offended by a lot of what I see on here, but this one just makes me laugh. People have known the earth was spherical for hundreds of years! Your scientific method is way off and you have designed these "experiments" and twisted the evidence to agree with your hypothesis. The earth is spherical, we have pictures from space. Do you people also believe the sun orbits us?
