But then it can be, that this 'soul' thing or stoff or whatevery does not exist (and therefore can not be measured).

Or can I make up anything and just say, that it can not be measured, when someone asks for proofs. What a good idea!

What has any of that got to do with if God's going to burn you for searching for bogus reasons not to believe in Him?

First of all, the Bible is not a historic record. Bed time stories from the Bronze-Age are not history.
And second, all the old books are doing very badly when it comes to moral values. Today's values have changed and will constantly change. Do not adhere to the values of Bronze-Age people.
Good is not always good and bad is not always bad. Today, we know about that.

I believe Brother Bobby-Joe has already clearly laid out that the Bible is from the Classical period, long after the Bronze Age and even after the Iron Age.

                  Iron Age 1200 - 600 BC

Classical Period 600 BC to 500 AD

Keep in mind Israel as a Kingdom only starts up around 1250 BC and most of The Old Testament was written down or collected during the Babylonian Exile 588 to 538 BC and the earliest New Testament books were written in 80AD. That puts The Bible squarely in the Hellenistic Culture of Greeks who Atheists get so dewy-eyed over.

He just wants to keep reiterating the same unproven assumption that the Bible isn't the word of God over and over again until someone finally caves in. I don't think he really understands faith or how unlikely it is that any of us will suddenly come round to his way of thinking if he does this.

This is a common atheist deception.

The truth is, morality never changes.

Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever. - Psalm 119:160

The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever. - Psalm 12:6-7

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. - Hebrews 13:8

Society's perception of morality may change over time, but that is only because we mistakenly turned our back on GOD's orders to immediately kill anyone who disagrees with Holy Scripture.

Had we stopped sin before it got started, we could still be living in the paradise of the ancient times when sheep herders would dutifully roam the desert praising GOD all day, stoning sinners to death, curing diseases by simply praying them away, and sending women out of the camp every time they started to bleed from their lady parts. Oh, for the good old holy days.

                      JESUS, please come quickly! Amen!

This is very interesting to say the least. I am an Australian and have a lot of sexual experience with kangaroos. I have often wondered why they have such a weird appearance.

To all the people that think kangaroos are purely vegetarians think again. When I was young we had a pet kangaroo, and it used to love sausages and mince meat. Especially mine.
